🥘Myanmar Mohinga soup, one of the 20 best soups in the world🥘

Today I will tell you about a very famous breakfast soup in Myanmar. The name of the breakfast soup I will tell you today is 'Mohinga'. Locals mainly eat Mohinga for breakfast and also as a snack. In the morning, Mohinga is available in tea shops and can easily be purchased.

The most important thing in Mohinga is soup. The taste of the whole mohinga depends on the recipe of that soup. Myanmar Mohinga is one of the 20 of the world's best soups. Many foreigners who visit Myanmar try this soup. The movie Chao Phraya to Irrawaddy (2022) also includes a bit of footage about Mohinga soup.

For breakfast today, I ordered Mohinga from a restaurant that opened near my clinic. This shop cooks Mohinga Yangon style. I will tell you the ingredients in the Mohinga that I ate today.

Ingredients-

• rice noodle
• onion
• fish cake
• fish
• egg
• banana stem
• Yellow Split Peas Fritters
• lime
• fish sauce
• Parsley

Mohinga soup is cooked by some locals using beans and some using fish. Cooking using beans is faster and cheaper. Cooking using fish takes longer and the price is a little higher. However, the Mohinga soup prepared using fish is more delicious and sweeter. And the locals often mix banana stem and onion in the soup.

I think the theme of this shop's food is cool. The rice noodle is mixed with Yellow Split Peas Fritters and fish cake. Yellow Split Peas Fritters and fish cakes soften easily in the soup. That's why the shop owner didn't mix it with the soup.

Some people don't like parsley and lime, so the shop owner puts those 2 kinds in a separate dish.

When I eat, I add rice noodle, parsley, lime Yellow Split Peas Fritters and fish cakes to the soup. How much do you think this Mohinga should cost? It's surprisingly cheap. It only cost 2500MMK. 2500MMK is equal to 1.19 $.
