The Sunrise and The Sea... <3

I was finally able to go out for a walk again... not to buy some bread or ingredients at the local market, but for exercise and pleasure. :) I only had one class this morning at around 8 AM, so the night before, I asked my father if he was OK to go out for a walk early the next day. And as expected, he easily agreed.

I had to work until late last night, so instead of heading to the track oval at around four in the morning, I decided to sleep one more hour.

It was a few minutes after 5 AM when we headed out. The route I chose was the Baywalk. It's been a while since we chose this route, and I was hoping to feel the sea breeze more this time.

Our place is called Dumlog, thus the I ❤️ Dumlog sign. It's situated near our Barangay Hall. It's covered with lovely flowers. It's actually well-maintained compared to the other signs I see around. :)

It was a peaceful morning. :) We went down this narrow ramp to get closer to the water. The sea was so calm, and the sea breeze was relaxing. We're headed to the usual plaza by the beach, but we've stayed quite a while in this area.

It's always so fun to walk along the narrow platform by the beach. It's exciting, yet calming... you could feel the breeze and listen to the waves.

Choosing this route today was the best choice... we got to see a really beautiful sunrise! If we took the usual route, we wouldn't be able to witness this scene because we would be several minutes late. hahah Here are some of the many shots I took of the sunrise and the sea!

Above are the photos I took using the usual setting on my phone. However, I wanted to experiment a bit with the "PRO" feature settings, and these were the results below.

It kind of looked like my recent sunset painting, but this one is the sunrise. haha It's fun playing with my phone's camera.

We took a duofie before we continued walking to our destination. I was low-key tempted to get down these stairs, but it looked slippery, so I decided against it. hahah We went down the opposite side and continued walking on the actual road. XD

It's Saturday, so there were quite many people on this beach. Another reason why taking today's route was great. We were able to enjoy the beach without a lot of people.

One of our quests today was to buy taho for my mom. She was complaining how papa and I never got her taho when we did our walks. Hahaha Wish granted!

We intentionally took this empty tumbler with us so we could place some takeout taho for her. It's a gift from my bestie's wedding. :)

I took a couple of photos for papa for his "MyDay". hahaha I'm the family's photographer! Well, I always prefer being behind the camera to being in front of it. :)

We stayed for a little while before slowly heading back home. We couldn't stay long because of my class, but it was such an awesome morning. The sunrise was so amazing!

Thanks for reading this post. I hope you enjoyed the photos I shared today. See you around! (^^,)/

Thank you... :) We take early morning walks, because it'll be too hot to go out later in the day. Hahaha I'd love to take sunset photos, but we can't really see them well in my area. Well, apart from the orange~y sky. :D

Morning walks are energizing. The view of the calm sea and the sunrise bring us a sense of peace and readiness for the day. Morning sunshine is good for the health too. Another reward to look forward to is having freshly made taho (soft silken tofu with caramel syrup) by the beach. Bringing an empty tumbler for the taho I think is a good idea as it also lessens the use plastic. Your father didn't want to miss having his photo taken; My Day should be updated daily...😊
