Blog introduction: a glimpse inside the life of an independent, working student
Hi there! I’m Max, and I’m in my early 20s from the Philippines.
This is my very first blog post, and I’m really excited to share my journey with you.
I hope you'll stick around as I navigate life, one post at a time.
A little about me: I’ve been living independently since a young age, which has made me self-sufficient. I’m a working student, juggling both school and work to support myself. It's definitely not easy. Sometimes I do feel sad, but being alone having my own apartment or a place is something I dream of.
Maybe that’s just a phase. I’m not sure. To be honest, it might be normal to feel sad for no reason in your early 20s. I know it’s shaping me into a stronger and more responsible person. Every day is a learning experience, and I’m grateful for the growth that comes with it.
One of the things I love most is decorating my apartment. Whenever I have a little extra money, I make sure to buy something for my space.
I enjoy transforming my apartment into my sanctuary a place where I feel comfortable and can ease the tiredness I often feel.
There’s a backstory to why I love to decorate and make it pleasing to my eyes, but I’ll share that with you someday, just not right now hahaha!
Dressing up is another way for me to enjoy life. I love experimenting with different styles. When I was younger, I dreamed of becoming a fashion designer. I used to sketch outfits and imagine my own clothing line. However, life had other plans, and I ended up taking a more practical path that ensures stability.
It’s not what I originally envisioned, but I’m going to embrace where life takes me because I know it’s leading to a better place.
Now, let me share some of my favorite things. My favorite colors are wood tones, sage green, and black and white, which is why my apartment is filled with those shades. They give me a calm vibe, you know what I mean haha?
Speaking of calm vibes, traveling is another thing that brings me peace. I love exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and getting lost in unfamiliar streets.
I can’t wait to share my adventures with you!
Oh, and I also travel to different places just for a drink haha! I do enjoy a good drink now and then, so you might see me talking about my favorite spots and experiences.
I guess this is it for now. If you read all the way to the end, thank you! I really appreciate you taking the time to listen to me even though you were not listening you were reading hahaha.
I hope you’ll stick around.
Also, I appreciate @antonette for introducing me to this platform and helping me along the way; she is incredibly personable and informed.
Toodles!

Aww. It is always extremely encouraging to embrace the trip with an open heart since life has a way of directing us to surprising routes that are unexpected but significant. I like your appreciation for tranquility and equilibrium that clearly shown in the fact that you have a strong preference for earthy and neutral tones in your apartment, which is perfectly connected to the fact that you have a strong interest in travelling. I also think that It is a satisfying method to gain inspiration and peace of mind to travel to new locations and immerse oneself in the cultures of other countries. Never stop appreciating the trip; you don't know what incredible events are waiting for you next!
