Bought some Durians at Segama bridge: Walking around in the rain

Good morning. it is another beautiful Monday. Today, I am going to bring you to eat some Durians. We wanted to get some Durians so we went to Segama bridge. I have recorded a vlog of this.

My mum-in-law's last visit to Sabah was in 2016. Quite a while ago. So this time, I brought my sister-in-law and my mom-in-law here just to enjoy themselves a bit. Destressing. I guess.

Durians

If you love durians, this was the place to visit.

These look great. These are milk durians. They have a milky taste. The flesh is white. There used to be a stall where they would have this loud promo for their durians. But I guess after the lockdown, it's gone.

Mountain Durians

Lots of mountain durians are sold here. These durians are very distinctive. They have a more orange look and are cheesy in taste.

You can also try to bargain with them for the best price. Go for the ones that have a price that is already stated there.

After the rain, the roads were quite wet.

There are many stalls here too. You can get lots of delicious different types of food here.

Finally, we got these delicious orange durians. A box of them. These are quite highly recommended to eat. If you ever try one box, you may want to try another box.

My mom-in-law and sister-in-law with their umbrellas. After getting our Durian, it was time to walk around the city and head back to the areas near the hotel to just explore.

Luckily, there were a lot of places that were tourist-friendly with proper pathways. Even though it was raining, most places were still accessible.

Walking around Kota Kinabalu is quite safe. You don't need to worry about safety at all.

The city is quite clean. There are many nice wall arts around. We were near one of the most popular night markets in Kota Kinabalu city.
