This is Me: A small glimpse into my big World (My introductory post)

Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog! This introduction post will be the beginning of a new journey for me where i can share my thoughts, interests, life experiences, lessons and a little bit of my world with you. This will be mix of my ramdom thoughts, I hope you will learn a lot from me as much as I'm excited to learn more about you.

Who am I?

Let me introduce myself.

Hello! I am Leziel Mae Maagad Ragasajo. You can call me "baby" for short. Thats my nickname. Thanks to my mom and dad who give me that nickname, now everyone calls me baby and its just so sweet.
I'm turning 25 this coming July. In my 25 years of exsistence, i would say my life is like a roller coaster ride. There were Ups and downs situations, but atleast I'm having fun. We are six in the family, my dad, mom , me and my three younger brothers. I am the eldest and the only daughter.

We were a happy family back then not until my parents broke up. My parents relationship started to have problems when we were still little. I grow up under the care of my grandmother and grandfather, my grandparents in father side. They were the ones who sent me to school in kindergarten until elementary because my mother could no longer take care of me because I still have three younger siblings.

Even though I didn't grow up with my parents during elementary days, I didn't get angry or upset with them. I still love them and respect them, because I woudn't be here in the world if it weren't for them.

Fast forward when im already a highschool student, my mom went abroad to find a job. So I became the standing mother of my three younger brothers. She was there working for 8 long years. At the young age, I experienced being a mother to my younger siblings. I realize during those years how hard a mother's job is. Household work, taking care of siblings, and budgeting money for food and bills. But thanks god we survived.

Then my mom came home from working abroad and decided not to go back anymore. Since then, I felt the need to step up and help my family in any way I could. Thats why I wasn’t able to continue my studies in college because I needed to find a job. It wasn’t an easy decision to stop school, but at that time, I knew we needed extra support at home. I wanted to ease the burden, especially for my mom who is a single mom and who work eight years straight overseas. Though I had dreams of finishing college, I chose to be practical and focus on what our family needed the most at the moment.

I’ve been in a relationship with my longtime boyfriend for four years. My mom started encouraging us to have a child back then. She told us that since we’ve been together for quite a while already, maybe it’s time to take the next step and start building a family. According to her four years is long enough, and she’s wondering why we haven’t had a baby yet. At first, I didn’t really know how to respond, but I understood where she was coming from. As a parent, she probably just wants to see us settled and happy, maybe even dreaming of having a grandchild to hold and take care for.

Because I came from a broken family, I’ve always been very careful when it comes to building and protecting my own. Growing up in a home where there were issues and separations, that situation leave mark on me. It wasn’t easy to accept but those experiences taught me a lot about the kind of life I don’t want for my future children to experience. That’s why I’m doing my best to create a loving environment where peace, respect, and understanding exist. I don’t want my child to go through the same pain that I went through. I want to give my child the complete family I never had.

Im so thankful that I found this platform and im so happy that I have shared to you guys my story. It's true that no one really knows who we are until we tell them.

Thanks god because I stumbled upon @antonnette post about this oppurtunity to freely express my thought and share my stories in life. She patiently teached me about the rules and policies of posting. She also said that using AI in posting and engagement is strictly prohibited in which I promise to abide. I learned the importance of quality engaging within community. And i can attest that my post and my pictures are mine and only enhance and edit by using canva. I fully understood the rules and policies of hive posting.
