How I Cook Chili Garlic Oil and It Makes Everything Taste Delicious
Since I discovered that chili garlic oil makes food taste better, I have never stopped cooking it, but chili was super expensive a few years ago. It went trending, and people were making memes about it, and that's when my brother decided to buy one. He told us that chilis are super cheap, and then that time I was craving chili garlic oil and of course my family too so my mom ask me to make on, because buying the ready made is much more expensive and little. My spicy tolerance got better after this, which is good news LOL.
Ingredients and Materials I Used:
- 1 kg Chilis (Siling Labuyo)
- 15 bulb Garlic
- 4 Red Onion
- 5 Cups of Coconut Oil
- half tbsp Ground Pepper
- 5 tbsp of Oyster Sauce
- 5 tbsp of Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp of Umami Seasoning/ Magic Sarap
- 3 tbsp White Vinegar
- 2 tbsp of Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp Salt
- Plastic Gloves
- Food Processor
Prepping the Ingredients:
I remove all the stacks from all the chili and make sure to wear plastic gloves, we don't want a spicy finger after LOL.
After that, I start peeling off garlic and onion. This part made me die after, but it is worth it.
After that, I process chilies. Make sure not to inhale the fumes of the chili. LOL, tried and tested, haha.
Prepping done!!!
Let's Cook!
Let's Cook!
After that, I started cooking the chilis for 5 minutes.
Next, I added half a tablespoon of ground pepper
Then I added 5 tablespoons of soy sauce.
To balance the saltiness, I added 2 tablespoon of brown sugar and salt.
Let it cook on low heat for 20 minutes. Then, I transfer it to a bowl to cool down.
After that, I transfer it to glass bottle containers. Chili garlic oil is ready to eat! Perfect for siomai, fried egg, and everything, LOL.
Thank you for visiting, see you on my next blog. :D

Ohooo, your very own chili garlic oil. Sarap nyan sa siomai or sa mami at lugaw. Bigla tuloy ako nag crave, especially if you eat it during cold days or night. UwU. I just don't put this much in my food na coz bawal super halang sa nose ko. Huhu
Yes~ true!
Your chili-garlic oil recipe is really interesting. Making a large batch and storing it in a glass bottle is a great idea,it's so convenient when I need to use it. Thanks for sharing the recipe, I'll have to find some time to give it a try! 🥰👍🤗
Thank you. Yes large batch is enough for my family they love chili garlic oil so much like i do. Yes storing it in glass bottle is convinient. You should try it when you have time 😁
Chili garlic oil makes me think of dumplings especially the siomai. Unfortunately I don't have strong tolerance for spicy food, so I just dab a little amount of chili garlic oil mixed with lemon or calamansi on my food. For those who love this sauce very much, it's better to prepare something like this at home. You can have unlimited supply at home for every occasion.
That is true perfect for siomai. Oh you can make some with just a little bit of chili and more garlic I used to do that before. That is true! Having it at home very convenient. 😄
Chili garlic is the best. It is paired with everything. I also have chili garlic always at home. I cooked once and that's good for a month. We like so much spicy here at home. I spend half kilo of garlic on our monthly chili garlic.
That is true! Same it makes everything taste delicious because of the garlic 😁You should make a blog about it too 😄 same we love spicy here makes us eat more rice 😂😂 how long your chili garlic last until its gone?
i have pictures here already but not yet posted hahaha , during my first months of making it i just cooked little and eventually empty after two days that's why i cooked a lot, half kilo of garlic is for one month hahaha
It's still in draft, hahaha I can relate to that, hahaha yeah that is true, not even a week, LOL yeah good for month.
Awww! Homemade chili garlic oil just hits differently. I can imagine how the simplest dishes turn into something crave-worthy. Thanks for sharing 🥰
That is true you can do whatever taste you wanted it to be 😁 so true. You’re welcome 😃
That's the beauty of it!😃 Have a wonderful day!
That is true 😁 you too 😄

I want to make this too but I'd lessen the chili and more garlic. 😂😂 Perfect to sa tag ulan hahaha
Hahahah true ate mura kasi sili ngayon kaya marami silang binili hahah.
