Local restaurant in the countryside, Chiang Mai, Thailand #1 : A small restaurant with local northern Thai noodles.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. My wife and I planned to eat at local restaurants in Chiang Mai and share these restaurants with everyone. We focused on simple local restaurants in the countryside. It has many simple local restaurants. I will gradually share these restaurants with everyone. This time I'm sharing a small local restaurant in Mae Ngon Subdistrict, Fang District (my district). My wife and I have never eaten at this local restaurant. We just saw this restaurant 3 days ago. And yesterday we went to eat at this restaurant. This time my wife drove on a rural road from my village and I took photos. I also took some photos of the journey from my village to this restaurant.

This local restaurant is a small restaurant with no name. It is located on a rural road in the community area of Mae Ngon Khilek village. This restaurant is simply built and not decorated. The restaurant has only wooden pillars and the galvanized steel sheet roofs, no walls. The tables and chairs in the restaurant are made of wood.

This restaurant only sells 2 dishes. They are popular local food from northern Thailand. The first dish was Northern Thai curry noodles with chicken (Khao Soi). Khao Soi is eaten with shallots and pickled vegetables as side dishes.

The second dish is Khanom Jeen Nam Ngiao (Rice vermicelli in northern Thai curry sauce). This dish is eaten with vegetables and bean sprouts.

But our favorite drink at this restaurant is whole milk with grass jelly. If we don't order drinks, this restaurant has free drinking water.
