Balancing Work and Family: A day in mom’s life.

Hello Hivers! How's your second day of the week? Hope you're doing fine.
TUESDAY: A day in my life as a working mom. My routine here every day is the same. For now I want to share what we did today.
It's night already when we went to Teddy. We go there because we want to buy new bed sheets and other stuff at home. Unfortunately there is no available single bed for Aya. So we went to another shop hoping they had even a simple one. I ended up buying some slippers. Even though we still have a pair of slippers at home. It's not on the list, hehehe I want to buy her some toys because she's collecting stuff toys. I just do window shopping. That's all in sale its good to buy. But I need to save money. Need to control buying stuff at home if its not important. Window shopping is for free, hehehehe...
After that I went to the DM, it's the same as Watsons in the Philippines. Checking if the cream I'm using is available in the shop. If not, I will buy it online. They have the other cream but it's not what I'm using. Bioderma has lots of cream products. And it's a good product.
Were in the same place already so I told my husband. We will go to Lidl. I will buy groceries at home. Regarding the expenses at home I buy groceries and the bill and other expenses by husband pay for it. It's a good thing here, you need to have an application from the shop. Then click on the sale item and you have a discount. Everyday it's different sale items.

When we finally got home, Aya was so hungry that she cooked an egg for her dinner. And I said really done with your dinner. She said to me, yes mama, just check the plates there in the dishwashing the new plate that I used. And she ate already so I just gave her fruits and milk. She's growing up so fast! Seeing her do little things makes me proud, a sign of independence.
At night, I watch Slovak lessons on YouTube. I need to improve my language. I can speak and understand them. But I'm not fluent and I need to learn more.
Here in our place were in the borders of Hungary. So people speak Slovak and Hungarian. It's hard for me the Slovak and how much more the Hungarian language its more difficult.
What I like about Slovakia is how people love their language. They take pride in it. I'm teaching my daughter to speak in Tagalog. She needs to learn.
This ends my Tuesday blog. My life here is the same routine. But simple things like what my daughter did is a surprise for me.

@katiekate86 It is really hard to manage finances lately. Everything's so expensive and we really need to cut back somewhere. Watching my children grow so fast makes me realize how precious time is and how quickly I am getting older😂.
@izyllah-aeon your not alone. Im getting older too. I feel back pain already 🤦♀️ Your right Everything is experience. The things I want to buy for my kid is not too much. Coz shes not the one whos asking me to but stuff. Her collection is what makes her happy. Its a reward for her, doing good things at school. And she has A+. She's making her homework alone. It is heartwarming to hear that your daughter earned an A+ in her class. She must be very happy and proud. It is great that she is very responsible and finds joy in simple things.
And take not its in other language-slovak. That makes me so proud of her. A simple reward for being a good daughter. Just give her a tray of egg, shes happy. That's my husband reward for her 😁😁😁

Oh, I see. That's the reason why you told me that you are so proud of her for getting an A+ in class in a non-native language environment. That is truly remarkable. Congratulations to her and the proud mom as well.
How is wish I will speak like them. But it takes time and more learning. That's why im learning even in YouTube and application. I dont have time of classes. Before I have but because to conflict schedule I did not continue. We have free classe from the state. Just make you I will attend. And to say I cant. Have a nice day ☺️
I think children can adapt and learn faster than adults. It is also good to know that they have free classes for foreigners who want to learn their language. With your initiative to learn from the app and another online resource, you will learn little by little and you will be fluent in no time.
One of best time for a mom to relax is to go on shopping or buying some stuff for the house and for our kids. I hope I can do the same. Great job!

Financial responsibility is really a crucial part in our lives. Especially nowadays, all the prices go up, same as with taxes! It’s frustrating honestly. But all we can do is to manage our finances properly. Good luck on learning new languages!

I hope you enjoyed your night shopping. This is what I struggle with as a mom and as an appreciator of things like bedsheets, household items and of course some toys for the kids. I have to actively tell myself not to over spend. I never shop alone, my husband is always there to tell me when I am thinking of buying stuff we don't actually need. Anyway Enjoy!
@markelle2801 here its different. What my money is mine. And I'm not selfish I buy groceries at home and pay for kids. He pays a lot like bills and etc. Its small things that makes them happy. Have a nice day!

Going to shops can really be dangerous, I mean, dangerous to our budget. hehe I sometimes like that I end up buying some things that I don't need or the ones that are not in my list. Yeah, I agree, window shopping is free, so just take advantage of this free offer, heheh. Let's not give in to the feeling easily, we should be strong enough to turn away, and go home fast... 😃 (But this is difficult to do when shopping with kids.)
@bettsmarie09 I prefer to be alone. That's so true if kids around, even not on the list they put on the cart. hehehe. There's a guilt too if you did not buy what you saw, hehehe. @charmingcherry Yes, Here I need to work. We need to support our family needs. Actually my husband and I need to talk about work, I need to come home first and schedule things ahead for tomorrow. I know there are still errands but helping together will make things easier. If I will not work here, I will feel more depressed. And have my own money is good too, so I will not ask for my husband if I want to buy something. Have a nice weekend ☺️
