Another Grocery Day with Mama and Our Chinese Night Dinner with My Family.

My favorite thing to do-Grocery Shopping. Once you become a mother your happy that you go grocery shopping. It’s another week for our grocery trip with mama. Yup, grocery day and I'm so happy because were together again. I know mama is old already and she needs a company to go somewhere. Like my husband says we need to make time for mama. Fixed our schedule so we can help her. Because before both mama and papa go for groceries. It's a small act of help for them and we insist that mama will give us the list they needed at home.

Our grocery trip started after our work finished. Our meeting place will be at Mom’s apartment. So I arrived first and mama baked for us. It's a potato, sausage, smotana and eggs. She says the name but it's in a different language. While waiting, I taste it and it was so yummy. Then Aya arrived after her dance class and a few minutes its my husband. We're all ready for our second week of grocery trip.

We usually do it weekly because we don't have a Sari-Sari Store to buy small things. A routine that I truly enjoy. It's ordinary for other people but for me its something I look forward to. Because I work hard to pay for our groceries weekly. It's a good feeling that I help my husband at home. And groceries here, its not the same in the Philippines. I can say its more expensive here. I handle budgeting for our groceries expenses. It's the same last week, ,my husband and I together and Aya will be with Mama so she can help. Of course, I will even tell mama not to give to Aya. She can't resist giving what Aya wants. We're on different sections of choosing what we want. There’s something comforting about pushing the cart and I can provide for my family.

When we were ready to pay at the self-service machine counter. And my husband goes outside to put all the things we buy. I search for mama and Aya. Maybe they need something. Yes, mama needs help because mama what's on her list the first thing she writes should be followed. I check the other list and look for it.

By time we were at the counter to pay. While waiting for our turn, Aya helped to put all the things and same things she did after to pay. We finished paying and put all the things in the car.

It was already 6:00 in the evening but the sun was still up. My husband decided we will eat outside in the Chinese Restaurant. It's an Eat all you can restaurant.

Mama doesn't like to come with us. So we went straight to her apartment then to the restaurant. I'm not in the mood to cook for our dinner and tired already. It doesn't feel like evening at all. Before we went inside the restaurant, I captured the beautiful tree around with my favorite subject- Aya.

Few people inside and its all good. Then we get our own plates and choose the food we like. Make it sure that we can finish it all. Or else, we need to pay extra. Because I was tired and hungry, I forgot to capture the photos for my blog. Because food is heaven for me and I forgot it. When we were eating, we were not talking at all. It means all of us are hungry. Just enjoying our dinner. Savoring the delicious food. We've been here many times already and the price and food are perfect. It's an ordinary day that feels so special. Running grocery errands and eating together with my family meant I was so grateful.
