My postpartum escape — a little break to breathe and heal.
Hi Hivers! It's me again, Jo!
Join me as I travel to breathe some fresh air as a first-time mom.
It's been 2 months since I gave birth to a healthy, cute baby boy. The longest 2 months I've had so far, juggling things from restless nights, milk preparation since I'm bottle feeding my baby (my body is not producing milk), diaper changes, to a lot of hugs and kisses!
However, that's not what I will be sharing, but 1 one-day travel technically for a meet and greet with my partner's sisters after them being away for years.
We've visited a few tourist spots within Cebu, which have a picturesque vibe that helps me feel so alive. The colors, the air, and the ambience are just so soothing, especially after being home for a while.
This here is my partner stressing himself thinking about how the baby is doing since it is the first time that we left him with my mom.
After a few hours of visiting places, it's already 5:43 pm when I take this photo and we are already in our last travel spot.
We chose this to be the last since this place is also at its best during the night. The is the 10,000 roses where each shines during the night.
During the trip, I realized how important it is to have a break especially after giving birth, just to reconnect with yourself again. It's so important to have someone to lean on, a support system, because pregnancy is never easy. Giving birth is never easy. Motherhood is never easy.
Good thing, I have mine who helps me along the way. I couldn't imagine being alone during this phase. Kudos! To all single moms right there! I truly respect you.
To my family and to my partner, thank you for being always ready for me.

Salute to you ! postpartum depression is not easy , Open communication can strengthen relationships and provide emotional support. Remember, you're not alone in this journey. It's okay to ask for help and take things one day at a time. Prioritize tasks and be gentle with yourself as you navigate this new chapter. Keep strong !!🤗
Thanks @itsmelyn I still coping up with this new phase I'm in but I'm trying to give myself the break I need too.
That's great momshie ! warm hugs to you🤗
Thank you for being so open about your journey. Taking that little escape to breathe and reconnect is exactly what you needed. Big hugs to you!😍
