Stir-Fried Sotanghon with Egg 🍽

Hello everyone!!
I hope you're all doing great today.

Let's have some stir-fried sotanghon with egg. I cooked this together with the chicken-tofu balls I posted here last. I promised to share the detailed recipe in that post, so here it is now.

Let's take a look at how I made it.

Stir-Fried Sotanghon with Egg 🍽

INGREDIENTS:

  • Sotanghon
  • Chicken
  • Pork Mandarin Sausage
  • Egg
  • Carrot
  • Cabbage
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Spring Onion
  • Chicken Cube
  • Magic Sarap Seasoning
  • Soy Sauce
  • Knorr Liquid Seasoning
  • Salt
  • Canola Oil
  • Water

PREPARATION:

Wash the chicken fillet and then cut it into small pieces.
Wash and peel a carrot, and then cut it into strips.
Wash the cabbage well, then cut it into small pieces or into strips.
Wash the spring onions and cut.
Crush and peel garlic, then cut into small pieces.
Wash the sausage, then cut it thinly.
Crack and beat the eggs.

Soak the sotanghon in clean water or mineral water.
Set them all aside.

Note: I'm sorry I forgot to take photos of the sliced ingredients, but anyway, you can see it during the cooking process.

COOKING TIME:

)
)

Heat a little amount of canola oil and then fry the eggs. Transfer it to a plate after cooking and let it cool down. Then roll the cooked egg and slice them into strips, and set aside.

In a bigger pan, heat some canola oil and then sauté onions and garlic until aromatic.

)
)

Then, add the chicken and sauté them with the aromatics for a few minutes. Then add the chicken cube, stir until it dissolves.

)
)

Add the sausage and sauté it for about 3 minutes. Then, add a pinch of salt, soy sauce, and Knorr liquid seasoning, along with a small amount of Magic Sarap seasoning. Stir and mix them well to combine, and continue to cook until the chicken and sausage are cooked.

)
)

Then add the carrot and spring onion. Stir for a few seconds and add the cabbage. Mix them well and then add water.

)
)

Let it simmer for a few seconds and add the soaked sotanghon. Toss them carefully until well mixed. Finally, add the eggs and toss them again until well combined.

)
)

)

And there it is, all done.
I really love eating sotanghon, whether it's stir-fried or served in a soup. It's really yummy!! 😋

Until then, and I hope you like it.
Thank you so much for stopping by, and God bless! 😊🙏❤

I love sotanghon and I sometimes cook it but I haven't tried having egg on it. This is a must try. I'll try this one. Thanks for sharing.

This sotanghon has lots of ingredients and most especially the meaty part. Whenever I will buy sotanghon in the food stores, I only see that there were only few pieces of meat that they will put. !wine
