Pork Ribs Soup
Hello everyone!!
Have a lovely weekend to all!!
Let's have some "pork ribs soup" today.
We can always make or cook different versions of soupy dishes as much as we like. And I'm going to share another way of cooking pork ribs soup today.
Let's take a look at how I did it.
Pork Ribs Soup
INGREDIENTS:

❤
- Pork Ribs
- Gabi or Taro
- Potato
- Corn
- Cabbage
- Tomatoes
- Onions
- Ginger
- Spring Onion
- Pork Cube
- Salt
- Ground Pepper
- Knorr Liquid Seasoning
- Water
- MSG (just a little amount)
PREPARATIONS:
Wash the pork ribs thoroughly.
Wash and peel the potato, then cut it into chunks.
Wash and peel the gabi or taro, then wash thoroughly again. Cut into chunks.
Wash the corn, then cut it into 4 to 5 pieces.
Peel and wash onions, then cut them into smaller pieces.
Wash and slice the tomatoes.
Wash and peel the ginger, then cut and crush it.
Wash the spring onions and then cut or slice them.
Set all the prepared ingredients aside.
COOKING TIME:

❤
Blanch the pork ribs in boiling water for a few minutes. This process is used to remove excess blood, foam, scum, grime, or impurities. This will also help eliminate unpleasant odors and flavors.
After blanching the meat or ribs, remove them from the pot or cooker and transfer them to a strainer. Then, rinse them in cold water. Then set aside.
So, let's continue cooking…

❤
Boil some water in a pot or in a deep pan. Once boiling, add the ginger, onions, and white spring onions.
After 2 to 3 minutes of boiling the aromatics, add the pork ribs. Cover the pan and let it cook for a few minutes or until the pork becomes soft and tender.
Then add the gabi or taro, let them cook until the taro becomes soft. I mashed some of the taro when they were already cooked, which helps make the soup a bit starchy and rich in flavor.
Then, add the pork cube and salt to taste. Stir and mix them into the soup.

After that, add the tomatoes, and then add the potatoes and corn a bit later.
Then season with Knorr liquid seasoning, just a little MSG, and ground pepper. Continue cooking for a few minutes, or until the corn and potatoes are cooked.
Then add the cabbage, and cook them for only 3 minutes.

❤
Lastly, garnish with some green spring onions.

❤
And there it is! I transferred it to a bowl, and it is ready to serve for my family’s lunch.
The soup tastes great, as do the pork ribs and the veggies. Overall, it's really flavourful and very satisfying.
What a great meal again!!
I hope you like it too.
