DigiArts Practice: Kuroo 🐈‍⬛

Hey friends!

It's @tegoshei here... The other day, I posted an anime fan art collaboration I did with my friend @suezoe. We did it digitally this time and the experience encouraged me to practice digital drawing on my phone.

I'm still trying to get the hang of it, but this fan art I'm about to share turned out better than I expected. Of course, there's still a huge room for improvement, but we'll get there.

Here's my fan art of Kuroo from Haikyuu!!

I actually sketched his fan art on my sketchbook, but I didn't have the time to color it... So, I decided to complete it digitally for now.

Allow me to show you the process...

This was the original sketch I did last week... I was just scribbling and ended up drawing Kuroo again. hahahaha

Since I already have this photo, I uploaded it on the Medibang Paint app... And used it as my guide for the line art.

There's the line art and it's ready for coloring... :)
I actually did the line art yesterday... And decided to color it tonight while I'm on my bed... It's almost 1am now and I started coloring around 11:40ish... Let me show you the coloring part.

I did one layer of the base color... Then, another layer for the shadows and highlights...

I also adjusted the opacity of the shadows and highlights. It's so satisfying to see the change...

And since Kuroo is from Nekoma (neko = cat), I chose a cat background. Good thing there's this feature for backgrounds to choose from. I'm using the free version of Medibang Paint on my phone, so I had to watch an ad to use it. Isn't it cute?

Lastly, I added my name on his collar and adjusted the opacity. 😁✨

It was a good way to spend some time before going to bed. I'll sleep now. I still have morning classes later...
