I’ve been staying over to care for my friend’s greenhouse, but today, I thought I’d take you on a quick little tour of their mini dragon fruit farm — a whole different world just a short walk away. 🌵✨

🌱 From Greenhouse to Cactus Kingdom

Every day I make sure my friend’s greenhouse babies are happy and hydrated (the pressure is real — they’re her babies, not mine).
But the dragon fruit farm?
That’s someone else’s territory.
I just walk over occasionally… you know, to make sure the cactus empire hasn’t disappeared overnight 😁

🌸 The Walk I’ll Miss

The walk from the greenhouse to the farm is only five minutes, but it feels like stepping into a slower world.

Along the way:
– Wildflowers blooming like they don’t need anyone’s permission.. I always stopped for a moment to admire the flowers,, purples, whites, soft greens,, like nature left little bookmarks along the path. It’s giving bonus beauty in every corner.

– The smell of soil and sunshine.. 🌞
look at this small but determined sprout that pushes through the dry, cracked earth,, a quiet testament to resilience in the heat of summer...

🌵 The Dragon Fruit Farm

Rows and rows of dragon fruits..
some in pots, some grounded and proud. Most are still green and plotting their glow-up...

But then I spotted one fully ripened diva...
Just… there...

Red... Radiant... Ready...

Like it knew I was coming.

🍋A Calamansi Cameo

And in the middle of all the cactus chaos??
A random calamansi tree stands like it owns the place...
Not a cactus. Doesn’t care.
Truly the unbothered side character stealing the show.

So no, I’m not the dragon fruit whisperer.. 😁
I just make sure nothing weird has happened since yesterday.
But it was a nice walk.. And the plants are still there..

Mission accomplished. ✅

Oiiiii, the farm looks wonderful, I enjoy the tour. And having a farm sounds really fun but i'm sure taking care of them needs money and time too. Still, having this is like having your own paradise where when you feel lonely, you have your safe haven. There. In the farm. Very peaceful and malawak no. And ang ganda lang ng pagkakatabim nila esp the dragon fruit. Sarap e friend ng friend mo na yaan. Haha

🤣 that's true..
I wanted to get that dragon fruit,, kaso nag iisa lng xa,, if there were a lot,, I could've taken a few na hindi nya ma notice.. babalik nlng ako if dumami na sila.. I also took a few cuttings to plant in my husband's small space at home.. hope we can harvest after a few years.. 🤣
