Sweet Melodies in the Garden

Songs so sweet,
Like tinkling silver bells,
At dawn does greet,
Casting a deep spell!

Is this a dream?
A fantasy world it seems,
Which my mind creates,
Even in a wide awake state.

Carried on the wings of the wind,
It descends as a balm to the soul,
Gently taking over my mind,
Slowly losing control.

Wake or asleep,

Who is this bard?
Who words disregard,
Yet skillfully conveys his love,

This beautiful creature,
Which escaped the heavens,
A celestial teacher,

Comforting the soul with a silken brush.

Setting me free,
From the worries of today,
Opening my eyes to see,
Beauty in a sublime way.

If the world brings troubles,
And unexpected struggles too,
Nature brings peace,
And tranquility through you.

Happy and tranquil,
Struggles cease,
Like waters still.

If my garden had a sound track it would be this one from Enya called Sumiregusa. I have always loved Enya's music and her Aragorn sleep song has always been my special song. I used to sing this one for my babies.

This Irish singer has a voice that can still your soul and help you reach deep within. Her music transcends language and touches your soul, her golden voice has an ethereal quality about it. It connects me to the Earth and to myself. I probably connect Enya with garden/nature because I always used to walk in my little garden when I first listened to her songs from my ipod. I fell in love with her voice back then I guess that was about twenty years ago.

However the one I chose for my garden is the Sumiregusa because it is a song about nature.
