Decades of progress, there's a well-known fast food chain - Jollibee in our province now. Tried dining for the first time with my parents.

Before my son's birthday, my Mother and I decided to go into town to buy some stuff needed at home.

Nay, will eat at the Jollibee later. told her as I was teasing my nephew because he was so naughty.

Wait for me, I wanna tag along. I was surprised hearing it from my Father, lol he was like a kid! Mom, initially, didn't like the idea as he was still recovering. Thus, he is not him if he would concede. Such a hard headed .

It rained the other night and since our house was at least a half kilometer from the concrete pavement? I had to be careful walking in the muddy trail while carrying my son.

Almost lunch time when we arrived at the town so we decided to dine first. Of course at Jollibee!

The progress for the past decade was really extraordinary. Back then, we still need to cross the sea, go to Iloilo just for a plate of jolly spaghetti or crispylicious chicken joy!

Not only that but it was even updated, no order at the counter. They are using an order kiosk.

There were a lot of customers but we were lucky enough to find a seat at the corner. I left Caleb with his grandparents while waiting for our order. See his expressions.

After a while, our orders were served.

The fastest hands in the world, in a blink, he almost got the rice. Good thing grandma reflexes was still fast or else we need to order another cup of rice for her.

We had spaghetti, fries, chicken, macaroni soup and pineapple juice for mother and coke float for us.

While eating, I couldn't help but reminisce. Back then we were struggling financially because the only food I could buy was a $1 meal. Not that we are rich now but compared to before? We are FAR BETTER

But Jollibee is an underrated food., Yes it may but for my parents it's only the past few years that they have dined here. Though this year , their health wasn't that good, (father suffered a mild stroke and mom now needs to see a specialist for her gal and kidney stones.) we are praying. Hoping everything would be better as we are only starting to give back .

Yet, after a while, he got bored and started to be restless. He would reach the empty chairs and even snatch someone's hair.

I thought, as he grew and finally could sit in a high chair that would give me enough time to eat. Thus, I only assumed .

Still, we had a great meal and afterwards we proceeded to a local store and bought what we needed.
