Yes, this is famous in the Sunda region, West Java. Almost the same as gado-gado, but lotek has thick peanut sauce. Salam,

This is yummy-looking food! I love how you elaborate each dish so vividly, I could almost taste the peanut sauce and fresh veggies just reading it. but anyway, we also have peanut sauce in a Filipino-style dish we call it cari-cari, and here in Malaysia, they also use peanut sauce for satay, it’s a barbeque style food with sweet and spicy peanut sauce. Lotek Bu Amir sounds like a true local gem, and the prices are incredible too. Putting this on my list if I ever visit Sukabumi! Thanks for sharing such a tasty piece of cultural food.

Thank you @anlizapasaje1234 for stopping by and a very good comment. Yes that's right we give a fairly detailed explanation, because I often eat lotek. One of the famaous lotek sellers in the small town of Sukabumi. Please come to Sukabumi the air is cool and the people are friendly, promotion ha ha. Maybe there are similarities in your country just different names, like you wrote curi-ciri. If vegetables are definitely the sama, only the spices may by the same but different names. Once again thank you. Greetings and happy days.

nothing at all! yes, our pilipino cari cari we also use peanut sauce with vaggie and meat the original is beef skin and tail we mix of it, but now we do something crispy pork and so many more versions, but the peanut sauce is the base. I would like to visit your country if I have chance and money for travel and its one of my lists now.
