Let's Play Resident Evil: Village - Meeting Villagers

Finally meet some villagers
After watching the old lady walk away I was left with making more handgun ammo, to prepare for the next fight and danger that awaits me.
There was a nearby house which was setup like a ritual site, with the candles in spots around the circle but could have just been a memorial shrine. The thrilling yet chilling part that you get to see next, is the castle in the distance amongst the fog, while you are in a graveyard!

I had to check out the gate to Castle Dimitrescu, which is what this place is called, and see it requires two round stone pieces to open which I will no doubt find later on.. will be lots of things I have to find throughout the game to progress and probably back track some areas.

With a bit of a look around further and going into what ended up being a church, I found the maiden crest lying wait and also a map, advising to seek out the crests should disaster fall upon the village. That means I got to get to the other place which is Luiza's, maybe someone is waiting there as well.

Once I saved the game at the typewriter near me so I would be okay if I died, to only come back to the latest save, I made my way through the gate leading to a sketchy looking corn field with a scarecrow, high corn stalks and.. then a zombie came out and attacked me which I knew was going to happen, great place for it too!

I made a first aid to use, after being hit by that zombie and others earlier on and this weakened my health enough to use the first aid. All this took place with a mine nearby that was ready for the taking, which was definitely needed in case there were big amounts of zombies to defeat.

Upon nearing some buildings by the end of the corn field that I believe one of them is Luiza's house, another zombie jumped out to try and stop me progressing.. but I was prepared this time by having my gun out to shoot and after multiple shots, I killed this zombies off.
I proceed into one house and find some villagers hiding once Elena whom I already had met took me there, keeping safe and ensuring the zombies are not able to get them. They were reluctant at first until they realised I mean no harm to them, and I was confused by what is happening here so they let me in.

I got properly introduced to the others with some being rude to me, claiming I was to blame for what is happening to the village.. then one guy cheered on another who was going crazy like a zombie, this one was Elena's father, using the machete to people and this called for leaving from this place, to get away from him but he would follow. Until Elena used a shotgun to kill her father in his crazed state and helped us to survive.

Elena and myself continue to the garage after finding a truck key with a screwdriver, allowing a way for escape should I be able to knock down the wall. This didn't happen though and the truck flipped.. Elena helped me to get out and we proceed up the stairs toward the attic.
Her father ended up coming back to her and she stayed, on the basis that she doesn't want to continue when her father cannot survive either. I watched them fall into the fire, helpless but shortly after I moved on and found my way out of the roof and would have to be careful again through the corn field.

If you like Resident Evil games, you should give this one a go, worth playing!
I’m curious about those stone pieces needed to open the gate; it seems like the game will force you to explore every dangerous corner of the village. Good luck finding them
It wouldn't be a good Resident Evil game without the exploration and back tracking, for puzzles haha!
