The Witcher 3 Saga: A Feast To Crown A Jarl!
Well Hello There Fellow Gamers And Hivers!
In the last episode of The Witcher 3 Saga Geralt had helped Lady Vegelbud to get her son out of harms way. Since he started dabbling with potions which are a withces favourite tool. well since then the Witch Hunters have been after him.
This was planned out in advance and it was done quite remarkably, Geralt didn't even have to do anything at all. The arrangements were already made and the only thing that Geralt had to do was escort him out of there safely. Just in case there was any unwelcome guests at the party.
It doesn't come as any surprise that there were but Triss and Geralt had everything under control and they even managed to trick these so called Witch Hunters. Hmm, quite odd that they can be tricked that easily hey!
No One Gets In Or Out!
Ever since Geralt and Triss raided and burned down the Witch Hunter's barracks near the docks The Free City Of Novigrad has been on a tight lock down, sheesh and that was sometime ago as well. They are really adamant on finding who ever might have played a part in that, yet they have no idea that the perpetrators are walking amongst them!
_As Geralt headed for the docks to discuss arrangement for a boat to Skellige he was stopped by a guard asking for papers that would confirm that he isn't a mage or is dealing with magic. (But he is right!) Fortunately for Geralt, Sigi Rueven was one step ahead of him and still kept a fine eye on Geralt.
This time Sigi meant to extend a helping hand, one that Geralt would not soon forget.
Treacherous Waters!
Geralt had to find a captain with a boat willing to cross the treacherous waters over to Skellige this proved much much harder than he first thought it would.
He went to every boat in the harbour and none of them were willing to take him to Skellige, heck they were somewhat frustrated just being asked the question as if Geralt should have known. None of the captain's were willing to help him, that was until the alst captain. He pointed Geralt in the right direction.
There was a low life sailor who might be more than willing to take him over to Skellige. He was told this Flask could be found at The Golden Sturgeon most of the time and most likely drunk out of his mind.
So that was where Geralt needed to go.
Asking A High Price To Die.
Geralt found the one they call Flask at The Golden Sturgeon although as expected drunk out of his mind, his price was high but Geralt had no time to barter, he needed to get there as fast as he could.
He wasn't all that sure if this dumdrop could actually get to Skellige or if he even knew his way across the oceans, in truth he looked more like a farmers boy than a captain of a ship!
They set sail that same night and Geralt was awoken by the thunder cracking outside of the ship, but he soon realized that the cracking of the thunder wasn't the only concern, it was the clashing of steel and the screaming of men with the scent of salt and blood in the air!
He knew right there that they were boarded, they must have been or he was dreaming a wildly vivid dream!
Geralt woke a few hours later drenched in sea water with the sun blinding him partially.
At first he thought it must have been a bad dream but it wasn't! Everything really did happen and the first thought that came to mind was how he was the only to survive this ordeal? Why always just him?
It would seem that destiny was far from done with him!
For a moment Geralt considered to search for Flask, the drunken sailor who'm he'd given a hefty sack of coins to bring him to Skellige, but the chances of finding him were slim. Besides he worried a great deal more about Ciri. It's been quite some time since he has found any sign or lead of her.
He can only hope that Yennefer has found something worth digging into by now!
The wandering Skelliger told Geralt he might find her at the pier below the castle and when he arrived he saw a great number of people. At first he thought Yennefer was going to be put to the stake but then he noticed it's a funeral.
The funeral of King Bran!
This meant that Skellige was going to be handed over to a new ruler, the one who would be deemed worthy!
Another Feast Befitting For A King!
After the funeral Geralt and Yennefer took some time to catch up share what they found on Ciri, which wasn't going all that great by the looks of it. Yennefer did mention some kind of magical explosion deep in the forests of Skellige and that it was worth checking out. The explosion seemed to upset quite a few of the healers and herbalists on the island, they claim it to be of dark elven magic. It must be Ciri.
While discussing all this Crach showed up and somewhat forced Geralt to go to the wake and that he had some important matters to discuss. The wake itself didn't bother Geralt that much as the fact that he had to once again get in a tight doublet and he was no fan off that at all. But he was forced to comply and besides he did want to make Yennefer smile at the very least!
A Night To Remember!
Even though Geralt didn't want anything to have with the doublet he really did want to have a good night with Yennefer to catch up. At the very least he was hoping to get so drunk that he didn't even know he still had the doublet on!
Off to feasting!

Yeah, the other play throughs I sort of slacked on Skellige... This time I want to do all the side quests here! Every last one.
