Days Gone: Riding With Iron Mike
Well Hello There Gamers And Hivers!
In the last episode of Days Gone I did a run for Rikki and yeahp I was just as shocked to get a job from her. I supposed old severed ties can always be remended under the right circumstances!
I had to track down some guy people reffered to as Red Riley I don't know that much but that is certainly a stupid name! I tracked him down in some place named Pioneer Camp. At first he was a sneaky little bastard but after taking out enough of his men he decided to get out there himself, with a hatchet and let's just say he didn't take three steps before plummeting to the ground lifelessly!
Discovering New Places!
I decided to stop and check out the surroundings every now and then, especially so when I'm entering a new area where I've not been to yet!
This was one of those places and for some reason I have this feeling that I might just get drawn into a mission here! Or some horde might pass through or at the very least I will have to burn out some of those nests the freakers like swatting up every where in a dark corner.
Having Some Fun With The Local Bush Peoples!
While I made the stop to check out the lumbering factory or whatever it might have been and as I jumped on the motorcycle I heard these loud voices calling out from the bushes.
Low and behold here comes two men each with a blunt melee weapon trying to steal from an experienced drifter, how can people be so damned naive and blind? They are certainly slow judging from the oak at the back not really knowing I stepped out behind him, heck they both probably have no idea that they are about to die in this place of always winter!
I had to have some fun with them, right!
Getting To The Location!
Not long after getting to the GPS co-ordinates that Dr O'Brian sent me a Nero helicopter came flying in and dropping off a few of these kitted up soldiers and a scientist, always a scientist in the drop off! Oh and they seem to protect them with their lives! All of them have priority on the scientist. Kind of cool if you ask me!
The story is getting so much thicker and richer! I really never expected to get anything close to this good from Days Gone! Super happy with the game so far!
OH and there was quite a few things that Deacon manage to over hear in the cave spying on the scientists! Things are getting unraveled now!
After What I've Heard I Went Straight Back To Iron Mike.
It's all very clear that even what happened between Iron Mike and Deacon couldn't really break the trust they had between them because both of them are willing to deal with the other because they know the true intention and besides that both understand each other far better than they themselves even know it!
I headed out to the mountains with Iron Mike because this was something that needed to be seen and not heard but you could smell them first! While on our way there we decided to clear out some freakers that got stuck in the swamp's muddy waters!
That Something Unexpected When You Thought It Couldn't Get Any Worse.
I don't care what he says I can not believe that Iron Mike expected any of this at all! Even though he didn't want to venture near the horde he knew he had to keep following Deacon he had to see what this was all about and it was a good thing. A good thing for Deacon because the old man is finally starting to see that he is trying to make ammends for the wrongs he has done!
Besides the only way all of this is going to pan out good for everyone is if everyone works together!
Iron Mike Wanted To Get On This ASAP!
This does make sense though since everyone at Lost Lake Camp looks up to Iron Mike and he had to be one step ahead of everybody else out there! He just had to!
You must surely by now know that a world like this is terrible and wicked and to maintain what you have you had to have been a killer at some point, I bet Iron Mike has a past we know naught off!
His story seems to be very saddening and emotional in some way, quite keen on digging into that over the next few episodes!
