The Copper Age Update: Exploring our New Minecraft World

Hello and welcome back to another episode of testing Minecraft's latest update, The Copper Age. You can read about some of the changes that came with this new update in my last blog. There are new copper tools and armour, which I tried. It gives the player some cheap armour at the start of the game.

The copper golems and the copper chest are the other major things that were newly added to Minecraft. We could not test it quickly because we still had to find pumpkin, but the first couple of hours we were in a massive cave mining iron, copper and diamonds. We found a lush cave under our spawn area and decided to make it our base of operations for now.

I found the first village in this new world. It was a few hundred blocks away from us. A big village too, with a lot of food but way fewer chests than the houses.

I continued my slaughter business. The new cow skins look so weird. The old cow textures are now so ingrained in my brain that looking at these warm biome cows makes it look like I have installed texture packs and mods to change their skins.

After collecting about 30 leather and a lot of Hay from the village. It was time to head back. I slept on one of the villagers' beds. The sunset looked so good.

It was time to explore the surface and look at our new world. See which biome is around us. This is one of the best parts of a new survival world. Every random base being unique, I am always excited to see what the new world looks like. We were very close to a jungle biome, which is an interesting thing.

Another small change that came to Minecraft this year is the new sheep textures. Now, it is much easier to tell which colored sheep it was, even if you shear it. It used to be very confusing before.

I found a ruined nether portal next to a beach. I mined all of the crying obsidians; they will be used to make a respawn anchor in the Nether. Also, this was the first ruined portal and inside the chest, I found an enchanted golden apple. This is turning out to be a lucky seed.

I told you in the last post that my goal is to make an enchantment setup quickly. For this, I had set up a sugarcane farm and now that I was out exploring. I was making sure that no horse or cow was spared. All of those poor animals were slaughtered for their leather.

Sunsets in the plains with this mod pack look so good. Look at the lightning effect. This is only the low preset as well.

I went back home and crafted bookshelves and an enchanting table. And guess what? I was short of only one bookshelf. I couldn't make two more books because of the shortage of a few extra pieces of leather. I should have gotten more. For now, this enchanting setup doesn't look symmetrical at all.

We enchanted a few of our items as well. Not with the maximum levels but with whatever we could find. Both Beril and I went on another adventure to find pumpkins. We found a cute turtle couple on the beach. Once we get the silk touch enchantment, we will feed them and steal their eggs lol.

We also found a lava pool on the surface and made a portal to see what the Nether looks like. We weren't going to it yet, but just had a sneak peek, and it was the Nether Waste biome. A closed and safe portal location as well.

Stay tuned to find out what we found next in our Minecraft world.

Thanks for reading.

Until next shot...

Ahaha, it looks so fun. Loved that part how you mentioned feeding the turtles and stealing their eggs 😂. That's very mean, do it again.

Those Shgaders do look very exciting in Minecraft, it makes your screenshots of the game even better and more beautiful, also how great the roofs that are in each of the biomes in this game look, I see that you are enjoying this new update a lot.
