Moonkarts | My Rewards & Experience from season #22

If you are one Hive chain but haven't heard about the Moonkarts game, then you probably living under a rock. This play2earn 3D racing game is really changing views about blockchain games. Because where we are used to see mostly card based strategic games with a basic 2D user interface and generally you play with stats and nothing to control in the actual game. Well, thats where Moonkarts stands different because with its pure racing experience in an arcade style kart based racing game, along with a play2earn mechanism to reward players and the transparency and Security being on Hive blockchain. This game is developed by Arcade Colony platform, which is owned by Splinterlands Corp. itself, which catches the initial trust and upon that, Aggroed is the head of the game development snd progress, whom we all know from Splinterlands. The 3D in-detailed graphics of the Moonkarts game will catch you in when racing with your karts on those neon lighting race tracks against other real players, while the competitiveness of the game including its 2 different multiplayer leaderboards and colony earned from every race. Overall, its an amazing experience to play the game that would remind you of playing old console or pc games, especially if you are in your late 20s or early 30s.

I have been playing this game for quite some now, over 3 Months and I have started playing into the competitive multiplayer mode from ranked season 18 onwards. With this last season, I have completed playing for 5 straight seasons and though at beginning, I only used to play a couple of matches per day, now after buying new karts and racing gears, my racing setup feels so enjoyable to race, as its way faster and smoother to handle now. So for the last 2 seasons, I have been increasing my play time in the game and also more activity in Moonkarts discord channel. Now, season 23 has already started and will last for 10 days as usual, so if you are already playing Moonkarts, just be sure to play well throughout the season and focus on orbital rewards as well with your rank while Playing races.

Now, before I move onto the season rewards part, let me first share my current racing setup with you all. As you can see from the screenshot above, I am using

• A 1 BCX Arachno Eclipse legendary Kart card,
• a 1 BCX Rare Driver Card Aurora,
• a 1 BCX Epic Engine Refinement card,
• a 1 BCX Common Tyre card,
• a 1 BCX Common Antenna card Corner Demon,
• a 1 BCX Gold Foil common Exhaust card Lite Burn and
• a 1 BCX Rare card Lite Glide card.

Now, Looking at the overall stats of my Racing Setup, here are the stats of the 4 different parameters.

• Health - 86/250
• Speed - 233/330
• Handling - 100/250
• Acceleration - 104/250

Now looking at its Fuel Cost, this setup costs me 78.25 Fuel per race and compared to its overall performance in race and also the earning factor, it is serving me better than using a level 2 epic kart setup, which costs a lot more fuel. Now, my goal with Moonkarts is to reach 1 million staked Colony token first and while focusing on that, I will also try to buy at least 1 BCX cards of all 3 accessories and also a Tire and Body reinforcement kit. The epic cards at 1 BCX costs comparatively low fuel nut serves greatly as cheap ad ons.

Now, while not actively playing races, I prefer to stake my top fuel producing cards in Auto Vault with Script tokens, so that they start producing Fuel for me. Now, I have total 14 Script token staked in the game, which supports staking 7 cards. Among this 7 cards, 5 cards remain permanently there - the 4 power up cards that I do not use, and the level 2 Quasar Sports which I left in Garage since I got my hands on the Arachno Eclipse. While these 5 cards stays in the staked form and produce fuel without any interruption, I use to unstake the rest 2 cards - the Arachno and the Engine card. Including all the 7 cards, it earns me 382+ Fuel per day, but I get less than that obviously, because of this unstaking practice.

Anyway. Moving on and talking about my experience in last season, I think I performed my best so far in this last season and not to mention, I have also spent a lot of time playing races in the last season which helped me to earn even more colony tokens. Now, as you can see from the screenshot above, when I crossed 3500 Ranking Points, by then I was earning almost 60 Colony per race, earning from the On Track Colony and Ranked Colony Rewards. So playing even 20 races per day will earn me over a thousand colony per day if I manage to push my Ranking Points just after a fresh season starts. In the last days of the previous ranked season, I was earning almost 600 colony per session ans doing multiple sessions per day.

Let us now move on to the rewards part you know already that there are 2 different leaderboards in Moonkarts multiplayer mode, first one is called Ranked Leaderboard and the second one is called Orbital leaderboard. Now in the ranked leaderboard, where only your racing performance throughout the ranked season matters, I was able to secure the 4th place with 4.741 Ranking points.

On the other hand, Orbital leaderboard is based upon your total Orbital collection in multiplayer races for that entire season. So simply, the more races you complete while collecting at least 3 orbitals, the better your rank on this leaderboard. Now for me, I have managed to get the 6th ranked at the last moment of the season with total 806,920 Orbital points.

Now, as for the prizes, as you can see from the screenshot above, first for the Orbital leaderbaord, I got rewarded with 3308 Colony for securing the 6th place while for the Ranked leaderboard, I got 10,962 Colony token reward for securing the 4th place. Now,6 I have to take in account of my Colony stake too. I am currently having around 515k Colony staked in my account, that is a big reason for my reward booster.
