Episode 21 Summary 🎮

This episode was BY FAR the most awesome Pokémon Opalo episode so far!

From raiding Team Gatling's base to get my hands on a Cerifa Government/Team Gatling contract, to battling dozens of grunts and uncovering the truth about the Pokémon League incident that caused the death of hundreds... this episode was just EPIC. But yo, let’s take things from the beginning!

Everything started when I exited the Tempest City Gym. City sheriff was waiting for me outside and told me to follow him to the lab, Winchester, Derringer’s right-hand man, was about to reveal valuable info about Team Gatling. I rushed there, and what Winchester told us would change Cerifa forever...

Turns out Team Gatling wasn't behind the Pokémon League explosion. It was actually the Cerifa Government’s fault!!!

Everything had been a lie. The government had built a secret lab beneath the League stadium to harvest PokéSense, energy released by Pokémon during battle. But the machines overloaded and boom… the explosion that killed hundreds happened. President Mustang made a deal with Team Gatling to take the blame in exchange for a massive payout.

Everyone was shocked. Cerif asked Winchester for proof, and he claimed there was a contract between Derringer and President Mustang that had everything we needed to expose the truth.

Winchester offered to take us to Team Gatling’s secret base in Austral City so we could find the contract. We rushed there, opened the hidden entrance… and the real adventure begun!

I must have battled a dozen Team Gatling grunts and explored a ton of rooms before finally reaching the safe with the contract. Surprisingly, Mundanez was also there, imprisoned by Team Gatling! I grabbed the document, freed Mundanez, and escaped the base through a hidden exit… that led directly to the Cerifa Government Headquarters!

That’s right. Team Gatling Base and Government HQ are connected! These corrupted politicians had been working together for so long, they literally built a direct tunnel between their buildings. INSANE!

But the story didn’t end there...

While looking for a way out of HQ, two men in black, along with Apolo, jumped me and dragged me to President Mustang’s office. At first, I thought Apolo was involved in all this shady business… but once we were inside, Apolo and I confronted Mustang together and backed him into a corner. He had no choice but to challenge us to a battle… which he lost. Then, he tried to kill himself lol! But failed miserably and finally surrendered, taking full responsibility.

This moment marked the beginning of a new era for Cerifa!

Apolo is now the new Region President, and he promised to lead with transparency, democracy, and fairness. Awesome news!

And that pretty much sums up what happened in today’s episode. If this wasn’t a DOPE episode, I don’t know what is!
