Baldur's Gate 3 ~ babbles & photomode 📷✨

It's been a while since I last played Baldur's Gate 3.

You know, I've never actually finished it before! The first time I played was when it was first released out of early access and I was unable to proceed out of Act 2 due to some glitches and bugs... and then I randomly tried a couple of Honour games. Turns out I'm not a strategy mastermind. xD

Anyway. Photomode was recently releaased!! Along with ~the final update!~ and I feel like it's high time I jumped back in and started again.

Meet Serenia. Seldarine Drow. Tempest Cleric of Eilistraee. Will awaken into Sorceress abilities. Will become a zippy zappy lightning powerhouse. Hopeful future Goddess standing beside her love, the God of Ambition, Gale.

Yes. While I haven't finished the game myself, I am pretty spoilered in regards to happenings and events and the overall story. But it'll be nice to finely finish it myself. xD

Mostly I'm looking forward to playing around in the photomode.

I'm not intending on doing a massive RPG storytale like I'm wont to do. Don't worry. Just enjoy the scenery. And my progress as I mindlessly babble.

I'm playing on Tactician mode. And forgot how much food is required for a long-rest.

I'm also planning on not save-scumming to re-roll dice over and over for preferred outcomes. Except when it comes to Gale. I need to line things up perfectly in order for my lovely Drow to be his partner in all that is magical.

I'm hoping that completing the game in Tactician will boost my strategising capabilities and the next time I play, I can whiz through Honour Mode and earn myself some golden dice.

Just casually popping up our first camp in a crypt, alongside a pile of bodies we just slaughtered.

So - multiclassing.

I wasn't aware of actually how to do it. I want my lovely lady to be a Tempest Cleric / Storm Sorcerer, and I thought that in order to begin that journey when I first hit the 'feats' level-up option I would start to spec into Sorcerer Initiate or something.

Turns out that's wrong.

Apparently when you level up there's an option to 'Add Class' and that's what I was supposed to do.

So I had to speak to Withers to reset everything and start again. Thanks Withers. xD So, that issue is now rectified and now my Drow is classed how she should be. 😅

A mighty woman of storms!

At the moment I'm just plodding through Act 1. Talking to everyone, exploring everywhere, treating it as though this is my first time playing through Act 1.

I'm level 4-and-a-half and am just doing all the small fights before taking on the larger ones. I just need half a level more!!

The spider above was quite the fight. I called upon my ogre buddies and they kept the attention of all the small and medium-sized spiders while my little group focussed on the boss.

Even then, we only just made it. And one of the ogres died. I mean, I don't get the privilege of controlling the ogres but still - one died!

I'm definitely not ready for an actual Honour run. xD

So I'm hunting around for every teeny bit of extra XP I can find before taking on The Hag and the final boss in the Goblin-Infested Temple. I've already taken care of the Drow and the Priestess, but the last dude is a bit trickier and I remember having trouble with him on -normal- difficulty, haha!
