There are a few champions in League of Legends that I have loved since the very beginning. One of them is Lucian. That's why I play him every now and then and try to keep my mechanics at a good level. Lucian got a prestige skin years ago and it's not easy to buy it. Because not only do you have to have the splendor essence, you have to wait for the skin you want to come to the splendor store. I've been checking the store every time a new patch comes out for about 1.5 years and the damn skin has never been added to the store. I even sent a ticket to Riot Games twice and they said there's nothing they can do about it. Finally, last patch the Prestige Pulsefire Lucian was added to the store and I immediately bought it. If I remember correctly, I got it for 150 glorious essence. Now it's time to test it out!


I've been reading about the skin on reddit and generally people don't like it. I really like the color palette, it feels cool. Also, even though it's not the best Lucian skin, it's the most valuable one and it's one of the champions I play with the most, so I wanted to buy it. The face he draws is so cool! Then a pair of glasses appears. You can see that in the video.


It's very important to be active at the beginning of the game, it can put you way ahead in the game and even win or lose the game. I was rewarded for being active at the beginning of the game and playing with my team by getting first blood. This used to get you 400 gold, now it gets you 300 gold, so you can only get boots or a small dagger :P


Lucian and other marksmen are very strong in the early game. It is very important to zone your opponents when you prefer them in mid lane. As you can see, I don't want Qiyana to get close to minions and if I can, I will even make her lose experience points. It's not so important for me to get gold, experience points are the most valuable thing in the early game.


In the early game Qiyana respected me too much. She never even dared to approach the minions. So I comfortably pushed the lane and went to help my jungler. We managed to kill the opposing jungler Master Yi and I got the kill.


I have to admit that this skin's back-to-base animation is pretty cool. I kept wanting to return to base while playing, but you should only do that when you're going to spend your gold xd


I continued to help my teammates in the early game, and luckily I was the one who got the kill in all the fights, which put me even further ahead in the game.


When I returned to the base for the second time, there was a huge item difference between me and Qiyana. I had completed my item and bought some parts for the second item while she hadn't completed an item yet. But it wasn't easy to kill her because she played so passively that when she left the tower she didn't hesitate to use flash to get back lol.


There was another clash between us but I couldn't kill him because I couldn't use my ultimate well enough. He managed to escape with very little HP. I guess he was a bit lucky :P


If I can't kill my opponent in mid lane, I go to other lanes and kill teammates! I also stopped by the bottom lane, and I'd be lying if I said I had an impact on the whole map. I killed the enemy jungler, top lane and bottom lane at least once each. I dominated this game from mid lane.


A Master Yi running at you is always scary XD I was a bit nervous and tried to run away from him and made some mistakes. If I had a smarter gameplay, I could have killed him.


Not being able to kill me must have affected them deeply because they surrendered haha! Jokes aside, if you check the scores, we killed 15 people and they only killed 2. So my team was stronger all over the map and when they had no hope they gave up. I think it was a smart decision.


Here you can see the damage dealt. I did more damage than my team and more damage than anyone else on the opposing team, so we can agree that I was the most valuable player of this game. Did this skit help me to play better? I believe that playing your favorite champions with your favorite skins always has a positive effect. Despite being on the losing side, Aurora didn't do bad damage. Maybe her team could have waited for her to get stronger because this champion is full of surprises.
