STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor has the best parkour in gaming

The greatest STAR WARS game ever created ๐Ÿช๐ŸŽฎ

The above statement is no exaggeration. In many ways, Jedi: Survivor is the perfect STAR WARS game. If you have ever dreamed of what it would be like to live as a Jedi, then you'd be crazy to skip over the STAR WARS: Jedi games.

Jedi: Survivor is the 2023 sequel to 2019's critically acclaimed Jedi: Fallen Order. The stories are connected, so it's best to start with Fallen Order. Both games are fantastic in their own right, but Survivor takes everything that Fallen Order did and makes it even better.

Outside of the fact that the games make you feel like you are living in a STAR WARS film, the gameplay itself is also a blast. My favorite part in particular is the platforming and exploration. I am always trying to explore every inch of each location I visit. Often this means a lot of wall running/climbing. This expands even further once you unlock more of the advanced movement abilities and can grapple and all sorts of other stuff.

Here is a short clip I recorded to show you just how fun simply navigating the world in STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor can be:

As you can see, there are many different skills to combine which allow you to get from point A to point B. There will be a lot of accidents, but luckily the game respawns you right back where you were. Trial and error is huge in this game, but trust that once you conquer a specific challenge, you will feel quite satisfied about it.

The most advanced platforming Survivor has to offer is the new Force Tears. You are tasked with extremely difficult obstacle courses that you must complete as quickly as possible.

Here is another clip I recorded of me doing the "Fractured Momentum" Force Tear:

I'm not going to pretend like it didn't take me a few dozen tries to get this one right. I just saved you some time and only showed you my successful run. Figuring out puzzles like this without having to look up a video for help makes you feel intelligent, to say the least. People who say gaming doesn't improve brain functionality are crazy in my opinion.

I do think that STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor feels like a mix of two of the best games in terms of parkour and platforming. I'm talking about Spider-Man and Assassain's Creed. There is a bit of inspiration from both games, but Jedi: Survivor manages to stand out to me as one of a kind. There isn't another game out there that is quite this fun and accessible when it comes to running and jumping all over the place.

If you've never played STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor or Fallen Order, then I highly recommend you give these games a shot ASAP.

Thanks for reading today and I hope you enjoyed the two included gameplay clips.
