You are what you say you are... a Sea of Stars 🌊🌟

Sea of Stars just released on August 29th and it landed on the PS Plus Extra game catalog on day 1. You can find this on Switch/Xbox/PC for about $35. This new indie title is developed by Sabotage Studio and has garnered significant attention and excitement from gamers around the world - specifically those who love a retro-inspired turn-based RPG.

Set in a beautifully crafted fantasy world, the game promises a captivating and immersive experience that combines classic role-playing elements with modern design sensibilities. Sabotage Studio, known for their previous success with The Messenger, aims to create a nostalgic yet innovative journey that pays homage to classic RPGs of the past while introducing fresh gameplay mechanics.

I'm not usually big on turn-based RPGs, but I had to give Sea of Stars a chance since it was included with my PS Plus membership the very first day ti released. Gameplay videos had me excited about the exploration of gorgeous landscapes, but I was unsure if the combat would be fun or not. Pokémon and Temtem are about as far as it goes for me when it comes to the turn-based RPG genre. Unless you count that one winter 6 or 7 years ago when I got addicted to grinding in Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, but we won't talk about that.
