Hawaii & Japan are more alike than you'd think 🌴🎌🌺

I recently posted about my first impressions of The Crew Motorfest and if you watched that video then you know that I really love this new open world racing game. I had a 5 hours free trial, which has since expired. I am patiently awaiting a sale for this game so that I can purchase it because I love it so much.

Before my trial ended, I was able to experience a little bit of everything that the game had to offer. One thing that had me excited, but also nervous was the drifting. Some arcade racing games like NFS have great driving that I genuinely cannot get enough of. Then other arcade racers just somehow find a way to mess it up. I was concerned that The Crew Motorfest wouldn't have quality drift mechanics. I was extremely pleased to find out that drifting is fun as hell in this game just like everything else.

There is a particular playlist called Made In Japan which features many different JDM tuner cars and a few drift events. I patiently waited until I finally got to the first drift contest and then I recorded this very gameplay video that you will see today.

I drove a yellow Mazda RX-7, which is an amazing RWD drift beast. Right away I was in love with how drifting feels in this game. Not only does it feel amazing sliding around corners and connecting your drifts for high scores, but my eyeballs were having orgasms because of the gorgeous graphics. This Japanese-themed track in Oahu, Hawaii is quite possibly the most beautiful racing experience that I've ever had. Just wait until you see how amazing it looks in glorious 4K. So many colors and even giant dragons throughout the track. This is without a doubt a damn good time.
