This game proves that metal is "Devil music" 😈🎸πŸ₯πŸ”«

Metal Hellsinger was added to the PlayStation Plus Extra Game Catalog in December of 2023. I had briefly played the demo for this game many months ago and thought it was cool. I didn't have a vivid memory of the game and figured I might want to play deeper into the hellish game, so I was excited when the full game was added to my library.

Metal: Hellsinger is a rhythm-based first-person shooter developed by The Outsiders and published by Funcom. The game's unique fusion of rhythm and first-person shooting mechanics sets it apart in the gaming landscape. The closest comparison would be a modern Doom game, but it's not exactly that. Players are tasked with traversing a hellish landscape and combating hordes of demonic enemies, with the rhythm of the player's gunfire and the soundtrack influencing the intensity of the gameplay. As your rhythm combo increases, the music evolves. Higher combos introduce things such as vocals.

The game boasts an impressive soundtrack featuring contributions from renowned metal bands, making the musical experience an integral part of the gameplay. Metal lovers are going to be in heaven with this game, or should I say hell? Players will be encouraged to time their shots, movements, and abilities to the beat of the music, creating a harmonious blend of visceral combat and heavy metal tunes. The rhythm mechanics aim to add a layer of precision and skill to the traditional FPS formula, challenging players to maintain their accuracy while synchronizing with the rhythm of the soundtrack.

Metal: Hellsinger promises a visually striking aesthetic, with a dark and atmospheric interpretation of hell combined with the chaotic, fast-paced action of a first-person shooter. The game's narrative revolves around a conflict between a protagonist known as The Unknown, armed with powerful demonic weaponry, and various demon lords. With its unique blend of rhythm gameplay, intense combat, and a metal-infused atmosphere, Metal: Hellsinger has generated anticipation among fans of both rhythm games and first-person shooters.

I am a big fan of both FPS games and metal music. Combining the two and putting me in a vividly dark setting makes for quite the gameplay experience. I cannot wait to show you how badass Metal Hellsinger is. Watch below.

Thanks for watching and be sure to drop any comments you may have down below, I will get back to everyone.
