Call of Duty WWII and Cold War are the two best in the series and this is why
Latest isn't always the greatest 🤔
This is about to be the most difficult battle in my mind. My two most beloved Call of Duty games of the modern era. I am going to attempt to decide which game is better. Will it be WWII or Black Ops Cold War? Let's find out.
WWII was my most played game of 2017 and 2018. I have over 200 hours played in that game. Cold War was unfortunate and released right as I got my PS5 and was playing all sorts of other games besides COD. This is the reason that I am just now about to pass 100 hours played with Cold War, despite it being one of my favorite COD games of all time. The scorestreaks alone elevate this to very high levels of the COD kingdom. There is so much more that I will discuss further in the video too.
When it comes to answering the question of whether WWII or BOCW is the best, I will have a different answer every day of the week. Sometimes I'm in the mood for WWII and other times Black Ops Cold War is the best COD ever in my mind. If I had to only choose one, it'd probably be Cold War. It would be an absolute shame if WWII never existed though.
I have some absolute beast gameplay for you in today's video. I went off in a match of WWII first, then did the same in Black Ops Cold War. I also have some in-depth commentary about each of these two COD titles. You will definitely be able to tell right away why I love both of these games so much.

If I could add up all of my hours playing every Call of Duty, I have a feeling I'd be expected to be a master of the game, yet I still am not 😆
A while back I decided to give Call of Duty a shot but I totally stink at it! I mean, I am embarrassingly terrible! Haha! Whenever other players start firing at me, I can't help but let out some high-pitched screams! 😂
It’s really difficult, especially if you’re brand new to it. The best way to enjoy it as a new player is to play campaign on a lower difficulty so it’s not so stressful.
I gave up on it. I like simulation games like StardewValley. Haha

What do you mean by next gen? I mean, I know it's next generation, but does it mean it's PS5 only?

Yes playing on PS5.
When I say next gen I mean that it has a PS5 version available. Only four COD games so far fit into that criteria. Black Ops Cold War, Vanguard, MWII, and MWIII. The main difference is that there is higher resolution/framerates on the PS5 version of the game. There is also advanced haptics and adaptive triggers only on the PS5 version.
There isn’t a PS5 only COD yet. They’re still releasing them cross-gen on PS4 and PS5, which is holding it back certainly. I don’t think there has been a truly next gen COD yet, they are all largely comparable to the PS4 only titles still I hope that next year is when we see that big leap to something drastically better.

I have yet to miss a Call of Duty game, well ever. I’ve been playing for a long time. If you’re ever looking to get back into it, I recommend COD Mobile with a Bluetooth controller. You’ll dominate bc a lot of people play with touch controls & you’ll instantly fall back in love with it. Plus the game is free.
