Sometimes music becomes more than just notes and lyrics—it becomes a gift.

A few weeks ago, a friend of mine asked if I could cover this particular song for him. I already planned to do it for him, but I hadn’t intended on making it my official entry for the Vibes World Kiddie Music Competition this week.

But then, life happened. My friend recently lost his father, and I felt it would mean more if I lent this song to him in a bigger way. So instead of just a simple cover, I decided to give it my all and make it my full entry for the competition—sung with him in mind.

This performance is for him. A gesture of love, comfort, and friendship, carried on the wings of music.
