For week 32..I did a cover of "Rebel Heart", one of my favourite songs by Lauren Daigle who's easily my favourite contemporary christian artist.
I love how relatable her music is and it's been truly impactful to me.🌻
Was this song my first choice for this week? No..but I won't bore you with those details this time😅.
Okay..maybe just a little bit.
I'd wanted to enter an original but I wasn't able to finish it partly because I didn't feel the things I'd felt or thought I'd feel when I started writing the song...but last midnight, my creative juices didn't let me rest till I finished writing it. I hope to share it here at a later time.😇
I'd had this song as my backup, albeit mentally. I did it last minute and I'll be honest and say I know I could have performed it better (I mean..this IS my jam lol).

I have never heard this song before but it was a wonderfully fire cover to come across, the melody structuring is alluring, the lyrics are poetic, it has clear depth and spiritual meanings that many can relate to, and your singing was very pleasant, calming and soothing to the ears, it was a definite treat and a musical blessing, we can all only imagine how you would perform it again next.
