I'm Godwin Akpana and this is my entry video for this week's competition. I chose "Good Enough" by Jussie Smollett from the "EMPIRE" movie because it's a very valid message we don't get to talk about often. 'Jamal' was suffering rejection by his father; we can see the struggle of pleasing his dad in the movie. I'm relating it to our world today, especially in Africa. A lot of children just can't get to do anything right in the face of their parents, and that feeling can be very draining. I'm not a victim of these things, but I know it exists. My heart goes to all the people suffering from this.

And my little advice for y'all is to Keep being your amazing self! Don't lose yourself in the process of seeking validation. You are enough, just as you are. Focus on nurturing your passions, values, and strengths. Your worth and identity come from within.

Aside from being a singer, I'm also a very good visual artist, and I made that masterpiece on your screen. Now the big question is, can I be good enough to at least make it to the top 15???? 😅😅 I hope you enjoy this cover.
