Lyon-89: Amazing Performance For Week 37

We just ended the 37th week of the Vibes Web3 Music Competition and the entries were exciting. The voting for week 37 is currently on. I have listened to several submissions and in this post I'm going to point out one that stood out for me and that is the cover by @lyon-89. I'm bold to say his song gave me chills as I listened to it. I thought he might be one of the lucky winners for week 37 but he isn't. I wish him luck for week 38.

First of all, I am familiar with the song he performed and it's one of my favourite songs. And he performed it expertly. Here are things that are outstanding for me in his submission:

Flawless Coordination: I mean the way he coordinates his voice to go along with the background music is impressive. You will almost not find any error in it. And it makes his song more enjoyable. It also gave his song a professional feel.

The Quality Of His Voice: To be frank, @lyon-89 is got a great voice, I would say it's somewhere between alto and baritone. His voice is smooth and clear and you can hear him clearly as he sings. His voice actually reminded me of some professional singers that I know like Jim Reeves or Johnny Cash.

He Sings With More Than Just His Voice: His facial expressions, his gesticulations, etc all combine to convey the music to the listener. We know this is a quality all great music possess and it's a criteria for winning the vibes web3 music competition. And @lyon-89 pulled it off brilliantly.

These, amongst other things, stood out for me in his performance.

Participants In This Week's Edition Can Learn A Few Things From Him:

Get Some Voice Training: Like it or not, possessing a great voice is the fundamental thing you need to stand out in this competition. So if you can, do everything to improve on your voice. It might seem strenuous but it will be worth it. Go online watch and imitate some voice training videos. Keep doing that until your voice improves significantly.

You Are Doing More Than Just Singing: When you sing you are doing more than just mouthing words alongside music, you are communicating to your listeners. Sing as if you are passing across the message in the music to them and out want them to understand it and react to it. This will help you sing from the depths of your heart. This, too, can make you submission stand out.

Sound Quality Is Important: Let the quality of the sound of your voice and the background music be considerably good. Let one not sound too high or too low or too scratchy, like pouring sand on dry paper. This makes listening to your music a happy experience.

Pay Attention To How You Voice Flows With The Background Music: Very Important. Your voice should sync up well with the background music not one faster or louder than the other.

Week 37 has ended and the 38th week is on and the submissions are still flowing in. I wish everyone luck, most especially @lyon-89 for the 38th week, i was kinda disappointed he wasn't nominated for last week. I hope he wins this week.

I want to specially thank @verbal-d and @lordbutterfly and other members of the organizing committee for this competition. You guys are doing an amazing job and I won't be surprised if some of the participants in this competition go on to become popular musicians in the society. For sure, promising future talents are being nurtured here. Thanks everyone.
