Creating My Ideal Space.

Do you ever have this subtle feeling that everything would be alright in due time. The feeling that everything would fall in place when the time is right? Each day, I try to master the art of positive thinking. The art of seeing beyond the repulsive and loathly present and actually seeing what the future holds;what your future holds.

I'm certain that at one point or another in our lives, we've actually envisioned an event and the event actually comes to pass. No? Have you ever been in a situation where you wanted something so bad and every spare time you got, you're thinking about the thing and making little and possibly insignificant efforts in a bid to achieve the thing in question? Then, just like clockwork, it comes to life and you become one of the happiest humans on earth.

I learnt about the power of the mind from a very tender age and ever since then, I've been harnessing this knowledge to the fullest.

However, my DREEM SPACE isn't something I've put so much attention too. I remember wanting to live in a castle that was taller than our family house as a kid. With time, this wish faded away as I started appreciating houses with fewer floors. Fewer floors meant less cleaning / maintenance and less maintenance meant less money expended. Now that I've been given the opportunity, I may as well share a sneak peak of my ideal DREEM space.

My dreem space would certainly be spacious. As per human nature, we love to acquire a whole lot of items and belongings even when we wouldn't be using them in the near future. I caught myself practising this act when I purchased a pair of shoes a long time ago and my consolation was "I would need this pair of shoes in the next two months and the price must have hiked by then, so why not just purchase it?", And so I purchased it. Two months went by, twelve months, two years even, five years. Till date, I have never worn that pair of shoes out. But each time I look at my shoe rack, it's there, staring back at me and taking up space.

Over the years, I've learnt my lesson and I try as much as possible to purchase and keep only items that are necessary. This way, I create enough space for myself and with enough space comes freedom.

My dreem space should have a handsome amount of white colour in it. Ranging from the drapes to the wall decorations. Apart from the fact that the colour signifies purity, I like the subtleness that accompanies the colour. I feel I can be the best version of myself in such a space.

The only colour exception to this space would be the natural elements present. I would love to have a clear cut and very prominent view of nature from my dreem space. I would love to be able to see a lush, green forest with a trickling stream and a canopy of leaves overhead. On days when I take a walk, I would feel the fresh and cool air, and the sunlight filtering through the trees. The chirping of the birds wouldn't be left out either. This creates a melodious symphony. There is no place I'd rather be at.

My dreem space is supposed to be a place where I feel happy, relaxed and at ease . A place I can derive solace from after a very hectic day or a place I could run to for comfort when the world becomes utterly unbearable. The few aforementioned mentioned elements would undoubtedly create this effect on me.
