Improvements

Physically and mentally improving. I'm definitely not back to normal yet, but I didn't expect this to be a quick process. I'm still doing better than I would have imagined at this point. It's making me doubt whether I'm actually going through another bout of depression or whether I was just acting lie a moody child (which I tend to do even when I'm in a relatively normal state... definitely not one of my better features, and something to work upon). I'm betting I'm not the only one who feels this way during recovery.

Anyway, we went to the primary care doc today, got my Mom medications, and I also got some outpatient imaging that I required (thank goodness I was able to get time off of work). My recommendations to Mom matched the PCP's recommendations to the dot. That's certainly a good sign, given the fact that I plan to be a PCP quite soon. The only thing is that she's starting them a day alter than I recommended. That's ok - as long as she gets better.

I'll try to put myself together over the next few days: resume exercising, eating better, optimally grooming myself (something I've intermittently done anyway to keep up appearances at work). I did lose several pounds of weight over the past couple of weeks, which was more than intended, and I fear that some of this was healthy weight.

I'll be working on sending out the monthly rewards to FC as well. I'm slowly putting together the data, and since this is the last such set of rewards, I've been taking my time. It became second priority to everything else in life.

Next, I'm hoping for improvements for Mom. I hope this is her rock bottom so that she can only go up from here.

Definitely, rock bottom is not a fun place to be. I'm not the type to get stuck there... for more than a few days lol.
