Sometimes the engagement is really high, other times it's way more modest.
I think, for me personally it depends on the weather. If it's sunny and somewhat warm, I'm more likely to be engaging 😃

Engagement in Hive is a difficult thing to manage. If I make a post, many people will see it. If I comment on a post, more often than not, only the creator of the post will see it, maybe a few other people, in some cases. I like your initiative.
Yeah, interaction can be challenging. It also is hard when crypto is in a bear market, and there aren't as many new people. I think a lot of people tend to stay in their own communities, and I can't blame them. I'm guilty of it, too.

Like many things in life, comments should be spontaneous, natural, nothing forced, we know that something forced does not last over time.
Not long ago, I wrote a comment on a specific topic that interests me, the comment was 4 large paragraphs, I can say that it relieved me, that's how most comments should be, and all because I'm interested in a topic, in this case philosophical.
Stay free.
Maybe comments are better when they're spontaneous, but I think this idea could be fun. Only time will tell.

Engagement makes it easier to know what is going on in the platform and it really educate people about the communities that you are wishing to be in and where your potential to be, sometimes it might look like it is not going in order but don't give up on yourself because definitely you make friends too who will help and teach you how to do chase the best out in getting to know the platform perfectly well

Writing a meaningful comment seems difficult sometimes especially if there is no topic. Sometimes I can write easily because the topic was interesting to me and something came into my mind and sometimes I think a few seconds and can't find anything to write about. Now I remember that I saw comments in the past which seemed forced and fake. Sometimes even off-topic, making it obvious that the person hadn't read the post at all, or at least hadn't read it properly.
