Another one back online / Reblog Lottery DUO Bonus

We back at our little table with yet another printer repair job this one was ready to go awhile ago but was a fair bit of work so I put it off, well it ended up not being as bad as I though and was not quite as much work but still not a simple fix

I had a print failure and the plastic kept coming out around the nozzle causing a big plastic blob to be formed around the print head, sometimes if it's small enough you can sometimes heat up the printer and it can fall off but no luck this time it was just too much plastic.

So I had to also hit it with a heat gun well it did come loose but I also melted some parts, but that is not so bad because this is a originally 3d printed part, so I can print another, there is also a back part that I printed but the original seemed to not bee to bad so I saved my self some time and kept the old one. but this piece had to go..

I also had to assemble a new print head this is like 20 bucks I could try to save the old one but would be too much work so I got a new one, the only thing is the plug is not quite right so I had to solder, but after that I put it all together and it worked fairly well...

Well it takes times to calibrate this printer so I had to print a bunch of what you see bellow to get the bed level offset set right.

And then right bellow my first test print came out great, and I am glad to bring another printer back to life.

Now I got my 2 big ones to tackle but to be honest I am not looking forward to that but I gotta take on that challenge and conquer
