Strange hobbies.

Looking through my old photo archive which I filled with photos living in Moldova I realized the theme of my next post is: Strange hobbies.

Hobbies are an exciting part of our lives but they can both unite people as like-minded people and separate them as a cook and a restaurant critic who wants to drown a restaurant and not give it another Michelin star.

There is another option something in between when some hobby is simply incomprehensible to another person and this is quite normal.

Even taking into account the fact that I have many hobbies philately numismatics drawing sculpting photography and much more some hobbies of other people may seem strange to me but in my heart I respect their aspirations although I do not understand.

So I met people who did not understand my hobbies and if you are a hobbyist you always have the urge to feel like a character from Cervantes whom many called a strange man a knight of the sad countenance lol.

But in such maoant it is better to remain a cheerful Sancho Panza and not a hot Don Quixote who immediately grabs his spear and rushes into battle with windmills.

So, one day when many years later he found himself at the door of the houses where he spent his first years of life, I saw a strange hobby of a person or people who decorated the front garden in front of an apartment building in a very strange way.

They created various fairy-tale characters from improvised means.

Some of them I hope will not haunt you at night, because it is similar to a journey through a field next to which the children from the movie "Children of the Corn" could live lol.

Some of the decorations looked harmless but probably all of this had its own special but incomprehensible to me meaning.

You will not drink water in this well but it really does look like a well which in Moldova is called a crane.

In all likelihood the talent of the sculptor was hidden inside this clay donkey perhaps the author of this masterpiece should develop this hobby.

And here is a stork you can recognize it even without Wikipedia.

This looks like a location of the game but I do not know what is plagea in this case what I saw or what the artists co-authors of the game depicted.

Here a hobby in the form of football somehow manifested itself in the form of a sculpture of a ball similar to a smiley and there are people whose hobby is drawing smileys.

I remembered that there are collectors who collect teddy bears yes the ones that Mr. Bean teaches you to wash in a washing machine in hot water then you can carry your favorite teddy bear in your jacket pocket.

This bear lies here in the sun and in the rain, and in the snow and in the thunderstorm a real wild bear of a very strange hobbyist but it was interesting to see!
