@ecency and @peakd are my favorite front-ends, shout out to them. The visual markdown implemented by both front-ends was brilliant. I decided to contribute to the user-experience of Hiveans.

You should watch the video I uploaded

How It Works:
Pick a template then use the magic brush šŸŒŸ, if your post context fits the template picked, it uses the one you picked.

But if the template picked by you is quite different from your post context and there is a better template to fit your post, it suggest one for you to pick via a pop-up.

Had a very super quick play around with it and it definitely looks like it could be a useful tool for people who just want to write. Think the only thing that could of that could make it "better" (for people who seem to be scared of code) is if you were able to offer a pretty much complete wysiwyg editor. My favourite thing was being able to flip the preview between mobile and desktop, I think that's the coolest thing I've seen in an editor to date.

WYSIWYG is definitely something I've been thinking about. It'll be handy for users that don't like seeing markdown code at all. I'll explore that in future updates. Watch out for Hive studio 2.0

This tool sounds super interesting and I think it's what I've been looking for for a long time here on Hive. Personally, I consider the aesthetics and presentation of a post to be one of the most important things for a creator. In my case, I take great care to maintain a pleasing style and visual quality in all my publications.

This tool will definitely help me a lot to make this Markdown work easier. I'll try it out in my next post and share my experience.

A good thing is that, it does not require a login. So, one can freely use it and copy the html code to their favorite front end.

Indeed, and I'm always working to make them more aesthetically pleasing, and with a good flow to them. You're very welcome, certainly. We'll, I've been fiddling with it a little bit, and I appreciate your video in explaining how to use it, because it's not necessarily self-explanatory. My challenge is that I've been doing my posts a particular way for so long, years now, that I'm trying out different variations, to see if I can find a new template that I like even more. I have just tried this and have to say you have done a great job. I copy and paste a draft that I had already started in peakd, and the editor seemed to have shifted some of the text positions around my original images layout. That made my post look quite odd, but mainly because I had already formatted my images layout in a particular way. I'm sure this has a lot of potential and even in its current form would be extremely helpful to people to make their post more presentable.

Right now Hive Studio is a web app, but it works fully on mobile browsers too. You can already dictate using your phone's keyboard microphone while writing.

A native mobile app is something I'd love to build in the future if enough people want it, but for now my focus is making the mobile web experience as smooth as possible for writers like you šŸ’œšŸ
