The 90's and its boy bans
The 90's were characterized among other things, for being a decade where youth groups gave much to talk about it was as if in those years young people were brimming with talent, while it is true that for a long time there are the boy bans, many of those who sounded in the 90, are still active and their hits are still remembered, so I want to remember some of the most outstanding boy bands of the 90s, so here we go with a new #ninetiefriday
Backstreet Boys
I will not deny that it is my favorite since the first time I heard them. This American group was founded in the city of Orlando, Florida, on April 20, 1993. Its members are A. J. McLean, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, Nick Carter and Kevin Richardson.
They rose to fame in 1996 with their debut album, Backstreet Boys, the first single released from this album was We've Got It Goin' On, followed by I'll Never Break Your Heart and for me the hit that catapulted them was Get Down (You're The One For Me) for its music video, the rest is history, because until today the band is still going strong and their fans love them.

The second most recognized and remembered boy band of the nineties also of American origin, founded in Orlando, Florida in 1995, directly related to the first for several reasons, which I will not share here, was formed by Justin Timberlake, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass and JC Chasez.
Although stumbling in their beginnings, they managed to get ahead and were initially more successful in Europe than in their homeland. Their first hit was I Want You Back, but undoubtedly among their most memorable hits are Bye Bye Bye which was released in January 2000 and This I Promise You
New Kids on the Block
While it is true that this American band was also founded in 1984 in Boston (Massachusetts) and composed of Jonathan Knight and Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg (older brother of Mark Wahlberg, also known as Marky Mark), and Danny Wood, was who undoubtedly opened and paved the way for later bands like those already mentioned, among all their songs there is one that still plays and just aired in 1990 Step by Step, the group has sold more than 80 million musical productions in the world.
Boyz II Men
This American band that was originally born as a quintet in 1985 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, reached its fame when it became a quartet in the nineties, integrated by Wanya Morris, Michael McCary, Shawn Stockman and Nathan Morris, without a doubt they are and will be a reference when it comes to R&B/soul, they placed no more and no less than five number one singles between 92 and 97 among them End of the Road, I'll Make Love to You and One Sweet Day, I love their Spanish version of No dejemos que Muera el amor (Let's not let love die).
I don't want to leave without mentioning other boy bands of the 90's and some of their hits, Westlife (Uptown Girl), Five (Keep On Movin), Take That (Back for Good), Boyzone (No Matter What), 98º (Because Of You), there were also girl bands, but I don't know much about them, I could still do some research to share, I say goodbye leaving this #ninetiesfriday post here.
Los 90 se caracterizaron entre otras cosas, por ser una década donde los grupos juveniles dieron mucho de que hablar era como si en esos años los jóvenes estaban rebosantes de talento, si bien es cierto que desde hace mucho existen las boy bans, muchas de las que sonaron en los 90, todavía están activas y sus éxitos todavía son recordados, por ello deseo recordar algunas de las boy bands más destacadas de la década de los 90, así que aquí vamos con un nuevo #ninetiefriday
Backstreet Boys
No negaré que es mi favorita desde la primera vez que los escuché. Esta agrupación estadounidense fue fundada en la ciudad de Orlando, Florida, el 20 de abril de 1993. Sus integrantes son A. J. McLean, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, Nick Carter y Kevin Richardson.
Saltaron a la fama en 1996 con su álbum debut, Backstreet Boys, el primer sencillo lanzado de este disco fue We've Got It Goin' On , le siguió I'll Never Break Your Heart y para mí el éxito que los catapulto fue Get Down (You're The One For Me) por su video musical, el resto es historia, porque hasta hoy la banda se mantiene vigente y sus fans les amamos.

I remember watching TRL on MTV in 1998/1999 and seeing the boy bands all over it. At the time I couldn’t stand ‘em and was the rock kid saying Backstreet Boys sucked! But honestly now looking back it brings deep nostalgia. Especially that one song that goes “Everybody Yeah! Yeahhhh Rock ur body yeah!!! “
