Another Gram of Gold Added to the Long Term Stacks
I was fortunate enough to be able to pay my this week with another gram of gold! This Monday was a bit different than others because I am trying some new things. First, I have changed my time that I sell my weekly stock options to earn income to 2:00pm CST, which is an hour before the daily close. This lets me get a better grasp of what the week is going to look like instead of trying to trade the chaos of the opening.
This got me to the coin shop a bit late, and I was lucky to get this guy! It was the only gram of gold he had. He has some 1/10 coins and such, but that was a bit out of my budget for the week, so I got the last gram he had. If not, I would have been picking up some silver rounds, haha. Glad I was able to pick up this little piece from Sunshine Mining!
I love it when I can pick these up in the cards. It gives me the ability to charge a premium if I were to try and resell them in the future. I have considered starting to build the stack again to do trade shows. I was planning on doing this early on in my stacking, but sold off a bunch of my silver to buy miners and batteries for solar systems, lol. But anyway, if you get them in these nice little cards, I can take them to a show and get around what APMEX and JMBullion charge for them, which makes a NICE premium.
It's not a big stack of gold by any means, but it's growing. This one makes number 4 in the little stack of grams. I am hoping that I can keep getting these awesome deals on these grams and work my way up to bigger buys again and grow to the 1/10 coins, but I'll settle for what I can get right now. If he is out of grams, I'll just switch back to silver rounds for that week.
I have changed up my savings rotation a bit though. 2 weeks out of the month are metal stacking, the weeks I invest in my solar mining setup or drones, and more importantly, my health! This means, one of my stacking weeks is buying up my supplements for the month because if you don't have your health in check, your wealth will mean nothing because the medical industry will steal it all!
Until next time...
Be cool, be real, and abide with you my dudes!

I don't mind the extra premiums as I used to. The more I think about it, the practical it is to have gold in fractional form. I can see a growing preference to 1/10 oz or smaller size denominations and yet retain some of their premium as prices continue to go up.
Yeah, well, when all you can afford to get are the smaller sizes, you do what you can. I love my dealer though because he doesn't charge the big premiums for anything really, so when I can rack up on stuff like that, I do! Many places like APMEX jack up the price quite a bit for the ones in the cards, so if I can scoop them up at a discount, I get all I can, lol.
