2025 U.S. Mint Peaced Dollar
The Peace Dollar was my very first silver carry coin. I really cannot explain why I am so attracted to it. Frankly, it is my ultimate favorite American silver dollar coin.
The Peace Silver Dollar, first struck from 1921 – 1928 and again from 1934 – 1935, marked the end of World War I and the era of peace and prosperity that followed. True to its name, the Peace Silver Dollar features an eagle clutching an olive branch on its reverse side, symbolizing the United States’ return to peacetime. Source
The Peace Dollars were the first date-set silver dollars that I collected in slabbed coins (except the 1921). See the video I made 9 years ago!
Designed by renowned Italian American Sculptor Anthony de Francisci (1887 – 1964), the Peace Dollar replaced the Morgan Dollar and symbolized the country’s coming of age as an international power, recognized the sacrifices made by its citizens in World War I, and celebrated victory and peace. The Mint reintroduced the Peace Dollar in 2021 to celebrate its 100th anniversary. Source

Really great round! Peace dollars are such an iconic American coin.

I could have just stacked Peace Dollars, Morgans, ASE and US Constitutional silver, and I would be happy! What if I sell all my silver except those mentioned and convert it to gold. Then start again! The Morgans were minted till 1904. They revived for a year in 1921, the year the Peace Dollar was released. The US Mint had no idea at that time... that fast forward to 100 years later, the two most popular coins will be reintroduced. But they made a boo boo... they did not produce the Morgans and Peace Dollars in 2022!
