2024 Niue Silver Icons of Inspiration: Beethoven
I don't know why some coin series are offered by dealers so late in mint production, while other coins are 6 months early. Is it the mint or the dealer? Who knows!
2024 Niue Silver Icons of Inspiration: Beethoven BU
Well, I thought that the Icons of Inspiration ended in 2023 with XXXX. Apmex offered this coin 1 1/2 years later!
THIS is the final release, and I missed 5 of the coins!
Actually, 3 coins were released in 2024, and this is one of them. The other two are Johannes Gutenberg and William Shakespeare. Released in 2023 were Thomas Edison and Marie Curie, and released in 2022 were Isaac Newton, the Wright Brothers and Albert Einstein. Then in 2021, Galileo and Da Vinci.
Coin Highlights:
Contains 1 oz of .999 fine silver.
10th and final release in an APMEXclusive® series.
Limited mintage of 10,000 coins, delivered in an enhanced BU satin finish.
Individual coins packaged in protective capsules. Multiples of 10 arrive in heat-sealed rolls.
Obverse: Beethoven holding a conducting with a baton in hand with piano keys around the edge and the intricate ceiling of the Hungarian State Opera House in the background.
Reverse: A triumphant image of a muse with an arm extended toward the sun, the seal of the nation of Niue, $2 face value and the date.

Ludwig Van Beethoven
Born in 1770 in Germany, Ludwig Van Beethoven was a groundbreaking composer and pianist whose influence reverberates through the history of classical music. These are the five coins in the series that I have. It would be great if I could get all, but it is not my priority at the moment.

It was a series produced by Nuie, but it did not come at a price. And it is about people, not animals or some inanimate concept of things. The price of silver is high; it is not the time to buy.

As for the releasing-who knows?! Why do they release cars 4-6 months before the actual physical year they are for? I've never been able to figure that out either!
