This is the first year issue of the Liberty Bell with the Statue of Liberty tribute to the United States coin of Cook Island. For those who know me, I am partial to the design of the Statue of Liberty. And I just have to get this coin.
I like the Statue of Liberty, and all her depictions in clad (as in the Presidential Dollars), silver (in coins, rounds, and bars), platinum (I don't have any yet), and gold. This one that I just acquired is a gold coin.

I don't really care much for the obverse, in particular putting the image of someone on the Liberty Bell. Just my opinion.
But I do like the reverse!
It features the head and torch of the Statue of Liberty with the flag of the United States in the background.

The mint did not take the time to think it through before they made the decision, which is what I think. What a waste! I bought it for the design, @tbnfl4sun. There are not many coins with the Statue of Liberty.

Why do you call it ....coin of Cook Island, not any other island?
The coin looks beautiful, both sides! I don't understand why aren't you "exciting" about the liberty bell side! !LOL
The Liberty Bell is a cherished symbol of American freedom. Placing an image of a monarch on it, which was something the Founding Fathers strongly opposed, feels either ironic or disrespectful, @hafiz34 !

The mint is clueless, I would say. They had the obverse design for many years. It did not occur to them that the Liberty Bell is special to us, and that placing an image of the monarch on it, something which the Founding Fathers strongly opposed, is either ironic or disrespectful. Indeed, sis! I think the mint is remiss, as they did not think much of it. They kept the design from 2011 to 2023. I'm sure the Founding Fathers are turning in their graves. As a symbol of liberty, the bell stands in defiance of monarchy. To adorn it with a monarch's image, which is precisely what the Founders rejected, is a contradiction, if not an insult, don't you think?
