The maple leaf: Canada's greatest symbol
Since I joined the discord of the #silvergoldstackers I said that I needed the bullion called "Maple leaf". I am living om Canada which is the most known bullion here, equivalent to the United States' Silver eagle. It has been minted by the Royal Canadian Mint since 1988. The maple leaf symbol is present in many Canadian official objects, including our flag. During our fall it isn't uncommon to find these leaves in the ground in a reddish color after the maple tree starts to prepare itself for the winter. The maple tree also provides one product that is well-known by the world, sweet maple syrup. Which is nothing less than the tree's sap used to feed its leaves on the top. The maple syrup is very good to be used on top of pancakes/waffles in addition to use in cooking recipes. The maple syrup was even used by the indigenous peoples here before the Europeans came. There is a hockey team playing at the NHL that uses as its symbol the Toronto Maple Leafs.
I decided to buy the latest Maple Leaf Silver bullion. The 2023 version as all the others has 1 oz of Silver, almost 38 mm in diameter. It is big. I bought it together with the Asahi's Dragon from Silver Gold Bull, it was at a regular price of $41.83. The reverse of the coin has a big maple leaf, a very detailed one showing even the veins of the leaf. It also brings the country's name and information about the silver composition. The background is interesting, I loved these radial lines that make a serrated texture. I read that it was implemented to tackle counterfeiting. Also, there is a small maple leaf near the word "oz" with a small 23 made by laser also to avoid counterfeiting. The observe of the coin has Queen Elizabeth II and the duration of beginning (1952) and the end of her reign (2023), the year, and the value of 5 dollars. Maybe the next year's coin we will have the new king in there? Still, no coin in here was minted with the new king.
This year we are celebrating 35 years of this bullion. The Royal Canadian Mint took this birthday to mint another bullion to celebrate that. However doesn't fit in my budget. It has 5 oz of Silver and gold plating. The price is nothing more than $600 if you are willing to pay. I added the pictures from the Royal Canadian Mint website below to take a look at this release. I think that even if you aren't Canadian at least the regular Maple Leaf is interesting to have in your collection, I would even say that I prefer the design more compared to the American's Silver Eagle, What do you think

The coin really looks good
It looks quite weighty too
