The 50 years of the Moon Landing, a Perth Mint beauty

  Silver is going up! Investors are happy! Every time silver and gold move up, people start to think that maybe they did the right thing in investing in precious metals. But on the other hand, crypto is going down! But that is ok! We just need to keep things calm it will pass, that's an opportunity to buy more perhaps! But anyways let's talk about more stuff from the collection! Right now I slowed down a bit my buying, I am just waiting for a Australian Dragon bar to arrive and that's it. Canada Post still in a weird situation, not in a total strike but reduced their working hours time, and no agreement with the government.

  I have been buying many Australian coins. Perth Mint and the Royal Australian Mint produce nice art. I like animals, they produce animal coins. I also like astronomy, they have some stuff as well. I bought a coin recently that isn't so new but it is something that I wanted to my collection. In 2019, they released a 50 anniversary of the moon landing coin. In 1962, the famous Apollo 11 achieved the moon and its module, called Eagle landed in the moon and Neil Armstrong said the famous sentence that is probably one of the most famous from whole human history.

  The coin minted by Perth Mint (it has the P letter in the reverse) brings the Eagle module and a human footprint from an astronaut's boot stamped on the lunar soil. That is a wonderful way to represent the happening. The artist did a great job. The coin also has a nice frosted surface. I also bought recently an Intaglio Mint's coin that is part of their Conspiracy collection that brings an anti-science point of view which says that all this landing was acted. It is a nice coin to laugh about it. Despite my being a pure science guy, it is fun to have those as well.

É uma moeda boa para rir. Apesar de eu ser um cara de ciência pura, é divertido ter isso também.
