Hive Arte || LET'S DRAW AN AVOCADO

Hello, hello creative friends, art and drawing enthusiasts. In my today's post I will share with you one more drawing with the grid drawing technique I told you about in the previous post.

As I mentioned before, I have the idea in my head that these drawings made on a grid sheet can be used to make some embroideries with the cross stitch technique. To corroborate my hypothesis I decided to make a small, simple and beautiful drawing, to use it later as an embroidery chart. Thus, among so many beautiful designs I chose this avocado or avocado as it is called in some countries.

I started my drawing at the bottom and worked my way up little by little with each square until I had completed the entire border in dark green. To complete the figure you have to pay close attention to the graphic and try not to omit or add any squares or else the figure will be deformed. The border was simple, then continue drawing squares from the outside to the inside until you have the whole figure shaded and then fill with color.

As I was coloring the drawing, my mind was already thinking about how I would work this graphic on the fabric and the thread colors I would use to get the embroidery as close as possible to the drawing.
