Queen Andromeda found out that her step daughter is in love with the same man she wants. She never thought something like this would happen. It was the realization of what she herself had projected a little over a year ago, albeit in a different way, in a different scenario, and she had already been told that the consequences of this were never positive. She heard this from someone she had betrayed some time later.

I say this in a different way because the situation was not the same. At that moment, she played at deceiving another man, and succeeded to the point of killing him while he was still alive.

She planned everything, seeking to take the safe option, at least for the moment. She claimed to love someone who had never loved her. And yet, she seduced another man, one incapable of doing harm; a man who only goes through life with his chest open and his heart in his hands, offering it to the world. She told him for months that she loved him, even though she had cheated on him before. She even told him she would never abandon him, and she did, in the worst way anyone can be abandoned.

She had no moral authority to demand that her stepdaughter behave one way or another. She had only one choice.
