My new experience in Splinterlands: Soulkeep Mystery and some newly purchased cards!

How are you all? I hope that by the grace of God, you are all well and healthy. Alhamdulillah, I am also quite well. As usual, today I was spending some time in my favourite gam, Splinterlands. While playing, I noticed some new things today and added some new members to my card collection. I thought I would share these experiences with you today.

Unknown items in the inventory (Soulkeep Items)

Today, when I was browsing the "Items" section of my game, I suddenly clicked on the "Soulkeep Items" option. Here, I saw some completely different items outside the usual card collection.

To be honest, I was a little surprised at first. There are several items like Gloom Owl, Slime Lord, Twisted Tempest, Kansas Twist and Plague Scarab. The items look pretty cool, almost like towers or magical objects. For example, Gloom Owl and Slime Lord look like defence towers, while Stew of Doom or Kansas Twist look like spells or magical powers.

However, my confusion is, where and how do I use these items? As far as I can tell, they are probably used for the tower defence mode called "Soulkeep" in Splinterlands. But since I haven't used this mode or these items yet, I'm not entirely sure about their functionality. If any of you have used these Soulkeep items, I would be happy to tell you in the comments.

My current league status

Now let's talk about my Battle Arena or league. As you know, I try to play regularly. Currently, I am in the Silver III league. My current rating is 1020. Surviving in the Silver league can be quite challenging at times because the opponents here bring quite strong cards.

There are only about 7 days left until the end of the season. My Glint balance is currently 4,604. Hopefully, I can earn some more good rewards before the season ends and move my rank up a bit.

Two new cards I bought and Reward!

Today I bought two new cards of the Natural (Earth) element. Although the cards look normal, their abilities are quite strange and a bit risky.

1. Luckiest Longshot:

The first card I bought is called Luckiest Longshot. It is a 7 mana range attack card. Its armour, health, and speed are fairly good. But its specialty or fear is its "Stray Shot" ability. The description of the card says that when this unit makes a range attack, it can randomly deal 2 True Damage to a unit on its own team! That is, there is a big risk of harming your own team while killing the enemy. However, its stats may come in handy in high mana battles, if you're lucky.

2. Halfling Refugee:

The second card is Halfling Refugee. It's a 1 mana card, but surprisingly, it has 6 health! It's not uncommon to see so much health for 1 mana. But there's a twist here, too. It has the "Weary" ability. This means that after round 1, this card has a 10% chance of becoming "Exhausted" every round. Once exhausted, it will miss its turn and won't be able to retaliate. That is, it may not work even if it lasts long in battle. However, it can be great for "Meat Shield" or getting beaten for a long time in low mana battles.

All in all, today was a day of learning new things and buying new strategy cards. I'm still curious about the Soulkeep item. I hope I can learn how to use them soon. And I will battle with the two new cards and see how useful or scary they are.

I am ending it here today. Don't forget to give your valuable feedback. May everyone be well and healthy. May Allah protect us.
